I'm with it on leaving it short. I play some massively undulating greens. They run an easy 10.5-11.5 everytime I'm there. They also have alot of club tourneys and they are rough on the pin positions. I'd rather leave it short than run that bad boy another 5 feet away from the hole while I could have shrugged one in with the toe of my putter while I pluck it from the hole. If I run it by, I've got the "pucker"...

Why do fans get all butt hurt when someone like tiger doesn't shake their hand during the round? Do remember people, they are not there for PR , they are not there to make your day, they are there to win a tournament and make money. Would you want to give people fives after every time you finish something? Turn on computer, give thirty people a high five, drink a cup of coffee, give thirty people an autograph, take a dump, high fives, etc...

I had the same conflict about 6 months ago, and went for a 42" Plasma.
Plasmas have always have the thing about "burning", but technology has evolved sine the first Plasmas, and now a days every plasma includes an unnoticeable screen every 5 minutes to avoid any problem with this issue.
