If you play dwarf anything DISABLE BOTH THE LUCKY RING AND THE DRAGON ARMOR UNTIL YOU HAVE REACHED OSTAGAR!! You can turn it back on then and reload a saved game made in Ostagar to make them appear.

Guys, let's take a chill pill or two, OK? We're all friends here, and freddy, ATi = AMD , take it from one of the flag waving, card carrin' diehard ATi fanboy here. As for Crysis, it's still one bad mutha of a game, and even pushes state-of-the-art hardware. Hell, even L4D2 @1920x1200, maxed out + 8xMSAA can cause my rig to cry for momma....FR can dip to mid 40's from highs of >200fps, but I attribute this...

I like Google's Chrome browser, so much so that I replaced Firefox with it. But their 'operating system' (if you can call it that) doesn't make any sense to me from a usability standpoint. First of all, no native applications. It can only run web applications. I realize that this is for netbooks where the levels on functionality are quiet low, but still. There go a whole lot of media players, word processors, basic photo...

A 100% complete set of new FREE tracks!!! All cars included. All I did was boot into Trackmania United Forever like I normally do and they said an update was available!!! It is roughly 21.5MB in size.

Ok, thats what I figured too.. my video card is most likely getting fried. I will certainly turn it down more and stick to multiplayer and/or just not play til I get a new card, which will be awhile. Being in California and recently unemployed means no new card for.. well.. probably quite a long time. Figure 12% unemploymnet with over 36,000,000 people in state as of June 2008 according to Google...

I was actually unexpectedly pleased with the game, perhaps for the very reasons you cite. It is simple and straight-forward with low demands on the brain pan, I get to shoot stuff and there's always more loot to check out. The key here is that its good casual shooting for me, easy to pick up and put down when I don't want to use my brain much.

My 955be 3.2Ghz is running with stock cooler, in case in sig webbrowsing etc ~32C.
Under load ~55, not bad at all.
It is a bit noisy but overall not too bad.

pointless - nice review. I got the game yesterday afternoon and after install played the campaign and liked it. I'm 58 and game for FUN. Graphics and music are great. My rig below runs it well. I had put the Droid at the top of my list until Nihilist pointed out in the other thread that it only has 256mb of storage and doesn't support SD app storage without hacking the phone... unbelievably weak. I get the feeling that I'll be waiting for the iPhone 4g or whatever Apple delivers to Verizon to get a phone done right.
Everything else about the Droid sounds awesome, I just can't believe...

Two of the DLC are included with the normal game for free...
If you download the Character Creator and upload your toons before playing with them in the full game they get a +1 to all traits ring for free.
The Warden's tower cost me $7 but it was worth it.
