The title says it all. People's jewelers lost my engagement ring when it was in being sized. They have no idea where it is. What does a store even do about that? You can't replace that. :( I'm hoping they somehow locate it. I am PISSED.

Like Loral I just gave Jack a spoon/spork when we started solids so he's pretty good at it now. He fed the dog her kibble on one this morning lol! If he's really hungry he will just grab the food with his hands and shovel it in that way cause it's much faster :)

No no no. It's not too late! Definitely get the baby signing time dvds. Grace picks up signs from that all the time. Just learn them and reinforce them in your daily activities. She will pick it up really quickly. In fact, I made up a sign for her "nite-nite" and after only two times of doing it,?saying the word, and giving her the sleep sack, she was able to copy me. It will definitely help with the tantrums. Although I do...

We have been cleaning out cabinets all day. And we had to rebuild a shelf, plus had a water leak. And I had to wash all those dishes bf I could but them back up. Plus raking an acre front yard full of leaves. And now for the bathrooms! I'm just glad I put a roast in the crock pot this morning so now I don't have to "cook" supper:)

i think the kids are going to hear it no matter what at school or whatever. and so hearing it at home isn't going to be that much of a change. if the bonding is going to be that good for vic then i think your right to let it slide. for now. let them get way comfortable in the bonding and then maybe just mention in a nonchalant about the movies or the swearing. my dad swore like a sailor also ...

That does seem a bit extreme. Have you talked to your dr about this? Baby John will sometimes bang his head, like when he is looking out the door and I wont let him go out he'll bang it on the glass, but not to hard. Holy sh!t Katie, that SUCKS!!!! I would be pissed....to say the least. I worked for several years for a jewelery store and when we would bring in a piece, we would fill out paper work and ask the customer what the replacement value was and then both parties signed it. i never experienced anything being lost, but the paper with the replacement value served as the "insurance" and we would give ...

OK, as for the short dress question I am NO help. I would say as long as it was a fancy enough dress and you dolled it up with super great heels/ jewelry you'd be fine, but I am sooooooo not an expert on formal do's and don'ts :) BUT, I had to go to a ball a few years back and I found an AMAZING dress on Ebay! Sarah, i was actually going to come on a post something similar to your post.
We are still co-sleeping and SG will not go to sleep without me or DH in bed with him and he will not go to sleep (usually) until we go to bed. I have been thinking about trying to get him in his bed, but I am scared that he will cry forever because he has NEVER slept in his bed or a long period of time.

I definitely think that it's possible....but at the same time these miscarriages might have happened regardless. It's so hard to say but I am not such a conspiracy theorist that I believe that H1N1 is about world population control, it all comes down to money and the pharmaceutical companies are making LOTS of it right now!

I waver between feeling like they don't have structure, to feeling like I am limiting them. It really depends on the day.
