I read somewhere that the dropper loop is a 50% knot. When I use the dropper loop, it is on nothing less than 50# test. Why do you hate the Dropper Loop? Spider hitch or the Surgeons is good too.

Trout - Lake Mission Viejo
Published (2009-11-29 18:47:00)
Did a little Trout fishing over the weekend for a change of pace. A 10,000 pound stocking the previous week made for some easy pickin's. Very nice grade of Rainbows stocked this year. They have beautiful Salmon-like meat, and are very tasty. I should do this more often.

Just returned from PV last night. The info. on the BD Mainland Mexico board was very helpful in making plans for our first trip there. We fished on the Top Gun and were impressed with the boat and crew. Our hotel was in Marina Vallarta and they picked us up at the dock near the hotel pool, very convenient.

I don't use them and I haven't had any problems yet.
Don't worry. If all goes wrong for you, I'll throw a few fish in your bag so you don't go home empty handed.

Funny! Whe I left my tackle box at Seaforth Landing, Mark told me that I was a very small minority that came back to claim there tckle. He told me there was fishing tackle left there that no one ever came back to claim, e.g. rods & reels, tackle boxes and personal item. They hold them for a year and then dump them!
