No sticker for me, just an advertisement that there might be something worth stealing inside!

Does anyone know of a comprehensive map with dive site locations? Not just "Oh Bonnaire is great," but rather individual sites with descriptions. I am thinking in terms of Google Map here. If so GREAT! I would love it to be done. If it is not, then I have started one using Google's custom map feature. PM and I'll add you and an editor to the map. To use the often played out, but never not...

I just finished the PADI Rescue Diver Course. I enjoyed it and learned a lot. I guess it does make a difference depending on your school/instuctor; in not one of my classes (OW, AOW, Rescue) did we simply go through the test together... We only went over it afterwards when everyone was finished, and some had to retake at a later date because of failure.

Well my wife and I found out today that the only way that we are going to be able to have children is to do Invitro Fertilization. So we have made the decision to go that route. We have been trying to have a baby for a little over a year and a half with no luck. Come to find out that I have an extremely low sperm count and this is going to be the only way for us to have a baby. Well there is...

So, since I'm not diving this weekend, I had my wife and kiddos pick up some Cousteau videos at the library today. Hopefully she was able to find one of the old Jacques Cousteau to go along with the J-M Cousteau DVDs. This will be the kiddo's first exposure to Jacques. What's everyone else got planned?

Hello. I have been talking to various divers, manufacturers and vendors about dry suits including the new White's Fusion suit. One criticism I have come across is that Whites suits have curved zippers - the claim is that this makes them more vulnerable to failure. Any thoughts. Another criticism is that they are a PITA to get in and out of. YES, I have seen the videos on YouTube, but ...

I have read a little about divers who use a long hose regulator setup. My understanding is the you primary 2nd stage is on something like a 5'? hose and the secondary 2nd is on a 20 something in. hose. You donate you primary in an ooa emergency and you use your secondary 2nd stage. My first question is how long should a long hose and short hose be, and of more interest to me, where the ...

Just got back from a cruise that stopped in Nassau. I booked the only scuba excursion offered. I was shuttled to the dive op from the ship making about 20 stops at hotels taking about 11/2 hours to get there. I rushed to get my rental gear which was handed out fast. Got on my boat, set up my tank and waited another hour as other divers slowly filled the boat. There were 27 divers on the ...

Okay, this just popped into my head. I am putting my list of equipment together, deciding how much of the DIR/GUE Kool-Aid to drink. I am going to do a BP/W setup. I am looking at all these pics of setups and I am wondering, how is the corrugated hose going back to the wing secured? Clipped to the D-ring, elastic loop on the shoulder strap? Free floating? Not DIR/GUE trolling...honest ...

Seeing another thread with a similar topic gave me an idea for this thread. What do you do for a living, and what is your favorite "perk" about the job. I'm an active duty Marine. One of my favorite perks is that ocassionally, I get to shoot to earn a paycheck. When I go to the range, whether it's the rifle range, pistol range, or whatever, I get paid to shoot free ammo. In the past...

In my opinion the category buttons on the left side of the page looked much better before. It just doesn't look as professional now. I do have to say though, all the other improvements I have seen so far are great.
