They really add a sense of scale to the show, and a freshness, too. If you still haven't seen them, seek out a few of your favorite episodes and view the "remastered" editions, I think you'll enjoy it. Watching "Spectre...

I dont remember any episodes off the top of my head Boomstick but wasnt there more episodes in DS9 when Sisko once again had to prove about human nature to the wormhole aliens? I'm sure I recall it happening again after the pilot. What about that one TOS episode where a Ceasar/Liberachi-like alien, a "child", was playing games with the crew and they had to explain about thier humanity?? Was that one? What about the pilot...

Note: It seems that the Enterprise and TNG viewers choice marathons marked the end of Sci Fi playing those series' in primetime blocks. Monday marks the last block of TNG to be shown on SCI FI. It appears they'll be running one episode of TNG on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM now. Presumably Enterprise will enter their morning rotation, occasionally having blocks of ...

I'm not really into horror remakes but I might check Friday the 13th out, Nana Visitor has done some great work. Personally I think that new BSG series jumped the shark in the third season.
Other Trek actors to look out for :
George Takei (Sulu) in the series Heroes and upcoming movie Red Canvas
Patrick Stewart (Picard) take your pick the man is fantastic
Tim Russ (Tuvok) tv ...

Easter Island Update
Easter Island, that flyspeck in the South Pacific, is famous for the scores
of large human-like statues that line its coast. But the island has
another, less positive, claim to fame. It is a prime example of how human
settlement can bring ecological destruction.
Rapa Nui, as the island is known locally, was rapidly deforested by its
Polynesian settlers, sometime after A.D. ...

According to SciFi Wire , the leisurely pre-production phase continues.
Shooting may start on July 11th. But they're definitely shooting in NZ.
