congrats for the came back to Merriman too guys!!!! Able to watch most of the 4th quarter, can't belive the Giants let this go. Ultimate drive by Rivers here, a la Joe Montana. Needs to watch out on those up-for-grabs-undethrown balls or we're going to see more ints by opposing Defenses. No running game but when needed 43 did his job.SEcondary needs to improve A LOT. Great final score, great Eli ...

Chambers' 2 touchdown day for the Chiefs was either a testament that he still has all of his skills and abilities or that the rest of the Chiefs receivers just plain suck.

Anyone interested in making a sig bet on the upcoming Chargers vs Giants game? (FYI, I'll be asking otf to make a sig for me if he has time)
As for the game, Giants have a ton of injuries and I'm really looking forward to our BYE week after the game in week 10 to rest up and heal. I think overall we'll be fine once we hit the BYE week and rest up a little bit but you guys are catching us...

My guess would be that he didn't take his demotion well, and was given his release as a result of how he handled giving up his starting job! Just speculation, but if I had to guess, this would be it!
