Throwback type Dr Pepper in January

Sounds good to me. Their big tie-in this year is going to be with Iron Man 2. I haven't heard if any new flavors are planned or not - I think they're just going to roll through with cherry. Coke markets with Dr Pepper should also see the 7.5oz sleek cans, regular only.

I found these at Rite Aid, in several flavors. The contest had expired a couple of weeks ago.

I know it's been mentioned here or the other board but the Pepsi guy who services the Tops stores on the PA side of the border said the Dr Pepper with sugar is coming in January.

How do you stop Plastic bottles...
Published (2009-12-05 15:04:00)
If you could lower the pressure outside the bottle, it should expand to the expected dimensions. If you were in Denver, instead of Wisconsin, that might do it. Or you could keep it in a chamber, where you gently lower the pressure until it's at the right point, then seal the chamber to keep the surrounding space at that pressure. -Doug

Was 11.18 fl oz too peculiar for the masses? What's the retail on these? I'm figuring somewhere around $6 for the 4-pack knowing Whole Paycheck.

Trust me, we've been saying shortlives since we were the test market for them. The only time we've really done something with them is when we had a 3/10, get a twin pack free on a couple occasions. We do have $1 of coupons right now and they have helped. Especially if you have an indy and can buy the retail down to $1.49.

Found out that the new formulation isn't due out until January - I guess they had a lot of old concentrate and labels to use up? And it's going to be called White Cherry, not Arctic Cherry Shatter like the website says. I personally liked the old name better.

The 3 new flavors for the next dewmocracy have their colors: Deep Green - Lime Blasted DEW (when i had this, my first thought was MDX) White Flash - Smooth Citrus DEW (was pretty close to regular dew) Red Cloud - Punch of Tropical DEW (this was more unique, pretty tasty)

The PET Gold Peak package looks pretty good - basically a shortened version of the Fuze bottle. Philadelphia Coke has 6 packs of diet and sweet in stores around here, for $5.99 - $1 a bottle, not bad. http://www.salutetosoda.com/viewtopic.php?t=1350 There was always talk of other gold peak flavors, like a diet green, a citrus green, etc. But I guess they abandoned that idea, ...

So is purple now the new food color du jour? I remember the blue food craze from the early 90's. I think the only item that survived that was berry blue jello. _________________ Anita [Unfortunately Connie Vandelay is not my real name]
