yes it could be a conflict. I think that Spyware Terminator includes antivirus which you already have with AVAST. I would suggest malwarebytes in place of spyware terminator. The free version is a excellent malware remover. It must be updated manually. They have a paid version that offers real time protection (runs in the background) and a auto update feature. Lets see if it can dig up any malware. Please download Malwarebytes to your desktop....

hello,
thank you for reporting this issue. I can confirm this false positive.
The reason for this false positive is a different one. An erroneous detection rule flags all executable files that have a file size between 100000 and 1100000 byte, with no version information, no digital signature and file section properties that also match to some upx packed executables.

i followed the directions from the last thread. I have used malware and removed the detected items, and here are all the logs that was requested.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here .
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool. When done, DDS will open two (2) logs: DDS.txt
