OK, I saw someone thinking about using a pelican case as a topbox and it got me thinking. I do have a Honda Topbox, but I don't always want to use it and there are sometimes I want to carry items that need a little protection. I used to travel with cameras all the time and happen to have a few Pelican Cases sitting around. I figure that this one would be perfect for regular...

So my question is that I bought this ST1300 and the suspension sucks. The front end darn near feels like a rigid bike on the front. It works becasue I can see the shock compress when I go over my curb but it really needs some help. It seems like changing springs and oil is the first place to start. Is this true? What would you recomend for springs and weight. I was looking at the hyperpro and it...

Any of you invest in Quantum Technologies? I'm thinking about dumping some money into them and thought I'd get some other perspectives.

Sorry that this is such a grim topic, but I'll chalk it up to a discussion on general safety that maybe we can benefit from. With the massive number of "Motorcyclist Death" posts we've had this week, I'm sipping my coffee and looking out at the road; it's forcing me to think a bit more about throwing the leg over the ST. And now, I'm wondering: What do you think kills more ...

Just finished my CB adjustment, well almost still need to put the 'nose' back on. This is not placebo, it really helped my bike's vibration! Bought my 03 used (15K miles) and don't know if the previous owner ever adjusted the CBs. I ended up tightening 3-4 on top and 1-2 on bottom (the peepers aren't as good as they used to be and I used only ambient light). Actually did the adjustment ...

I know there is a touring/trip area of this board, but that area has little traffic. So .... I'm asking here instead of there this question: I'm going to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway in a few weeks. I wonder how much time I should allow for 'sight seeing' as I travel from Port Royal to the south Virginia border? I'll be riding solo .... and am pretty much a 'down the road' guy. I ...
