This is a limitation of the SmartPhone OS - the SmartPhone OS controls the Up/Down keys, so even if I wanted to hijack them to do something non-standard/not-confirming-to-the-MS-UI-guide, I cannot - nobody can... I was sure that multi-task was in the latest version of iPhone... So, even with multi task, it's not possible to run a 'service' in the background ? (I think i will keep on with my windows device... Not perfect... but powerfull in uses...)

That seems ok to me. Make sure this is really the file that is currently selected, and also check Start / Settings / Home Screen to verify that the background is set to "Default" there (as it is possible the background choice was overridden there). If that still doesn't help you can also check that Layout / General page in Facade Settings to see if it shows the correct background there.

Hi Amit, Congratulations on your new beta release. I've just loaded 5.5 PB2 on my Treo 750 (WM6). Prior to this I was happily running version 5.4.11. I had not bothered to load any of the more recent versions nor the beta 1 because with a full qwerty keyboard, the Treo can be operated with one hand and rarely requires the stylus. I forgot to mention, some users of this skin may wonder why there are only 3 short-term hourly periods instead of 4 like there used to be in the original WeatherEye skin. The reason is that the backend source has changed and only provides 3 periods. I guess TWN thought mobile users only need to know about weather 15 hours in advance as opposed to 24 hours.

If Fizz Alarm offers a home screen plugin it could probably be hosted there, within Facade. We've been successful doing that with AlarmMaster. If not, that won't work but you could always change that section to some other "button" (requires manually tweaking the xml though).
