( Kurt, I think it is worth noting that there are a lot of stores which are closed on Black Friday, too. This gives the folks who work in those closed shops an opportunity to go and shop somewhere else. I was in Downtown Lakeport, CA this morning. ( Did you go shopping today? I didn't. Of course I rarely go shopping anyway. Instead I had my first ever Black Friday Sale. Yes, I made a \(one\) sale, which I wouldn't have if I hadn't been open. But dollar-wise today was just an average day for November \(and NOTHING compared to a summer day\). I guess I just don't understand the whole Black Friday phenomenon. ,)

( Does anyone watch TMZ? Do you remember the segment where they showed the President's wife doing the Hulahoop? Do you remember what the HUGE caption at the end of the story asked? No? Well..it asked, "would you hit that?" Guess-a-what-a? Not one peep was heard from the WhiteHouse or the first lady concerning that and yet such a storm of protest over an authorised photo? ( I got a nice calendar in the mail today. It was wire bound, 8.5 x 11 inches, pretty pictures, etc. The only drawback was the back cover had this flap hanging down that had the name and logo of a local pharmacy always showing, detracting from the pretty pictures. I cut the flap off. Nice calendar! ,)
