QUOTE (matrob31 @ Nov 4 2009, 06:02 PM) Not good news for us. Our best player last year. Good goalkicker and always gives 100%. and a smashing bloke as well. All the best for next year but dont pinch any more off us. He looked good against Cougars and in the semi at York. I think he will shine at Keighley. Hope we get a NR or Cup game with Oldham this year. Regards

Wot and leave you all on your own! What sort of a RL fan would I be if I did that. Besides the off season is very boring and what could be more fun than winding up the new boys, especially when your only going to be up here for such a short time

QUOTE (Oneday @ Nov 1 2009, 09:39 PM) How did Rotherham do that and as he has gone why is there a problem ? i never said there was a problem and his experiance under him was less than satisfactory in his second season were he made about for appearances in how ever many games. He also couldnt settle in with the other players. I did not mean he "ruined" him as a player. just his career with town.

Supporters Meeting
Published (2009-11-07 09:24:00)
Has anything been done with the cash that is in the old supporters club account? This was supposed to have been transferred to the Sheffield Regional Rugby League Development Trust and the account closed. There was £200 to £300 in there. Can anyone confirm the situation?

QUOTE (Gordan Ramsey @ Nov 8 2009, 06:00 PM) Our family would like to thank everyone who attended the Conservatory Day in memory of our dad Keith Eccleston. I would also like to thank Martin Crompton for yet again a fantastic compare, Alan Woods for his pre match speech, Peter Packingham, and Stey Tomlinson for organising the tickets and collecting the money, Shel for the quiz and ...

We've only improved the pack by one player so far and that was the main area of concern for me last year (apart from the lack of coaching and fitness ) so i'll reserve judgement . The signings in the backs look good if a bit threadbare but as i said the forwards are the key.

QUOTE (aquilla @ Nov 6 2009, 11:44 AM) Is everyone going to the supporters club meeting on Wednesday? Doesn't affect me, but I presume that for people who do have kids that children are welcome in the pub? Children are more than welcome. I will be putting a big advert up on here as soon as i get chance to stop and breathe.

QUOTE (bingyp @ Oct 31 2009, 07:12 PM) Eorl had an outstanding game off the bench. Never missed a tackle, made several good one-on-one tackles, made good ground as a runner, before and after tackle, and got off a few nice off-loads. If that's not good enough then one wonders what you want in a forward. Got to admit he really impressed me and proved me wrong. Well done to him!...
