Aurelia thanks for pulling up all that info. It was very informative. I'm somewhat scared about taking that first mega dose of vitamin d3 for fear it will cause a breakout. As far as the Diolite laser, my dr. explained it was quite gentle. Even more so than the smooth beam. It causes the least amout of recovery time. Virtually none. Hey Kenne, Have you tried fish oil supplementation for the ocular rosacea (OR) symptoms? I experienced approx. 60-70% symptom reduction in my OR once I began taking fish oil capsules (Nordic Naturals, Ultimate Omega). Hi, all. I've recently started experiencing an occasional burning sensation in my right eye, along with watery-ness. It's happened about four times in the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure what the problem is, but, of course, I've wondered if I could now be developing ocular rosacea. What I'm wondering is: who would I go see about this? I've occasionally had a burning eye sensation, usually just one eye at a time, though. It only happens when I'm sleeping. I never considered ocular rosacea - I always just thought I had dry eyes. My cure has been to drink Bilberry tea - http://www.evitamins.com/product.asp?pid=4813 I will have one mug a week throughout the winter, as that seems to be the only time I get the burning eye.
