Lifting rear without the diff as...

all the time. The diff is bolted to the rear subframe. The subframe is connected to the rear of the car at 4 points. I would think that the lifting force spread over 4 point would be better than at one jack lift point.

My "newer" Nokia is not on the Jaguar list - it didn't exist when the car was built. Works fine though once I got the phone setup right by trial and error. I recall that one thing needed was to disable the phone's privacy settings so the car could see it. I followed the Jaguar instructions for the car AND the Nokia instructions for finding a bluetooth device. Once the phone found "Jaguar" it...
