Did you order a signature paint series theme?
When did you place your order?
I am still patiently (trying to!) waiting for my bike. I'll give our rep a shout on monday to see where abouts my bike is in Treks backlog.
I ordered on Nov 1.
45+ day wait estimate.

I would try running something like WD 40 through each shifter in large
quantities to wash out the grease as completely as possible. Work the
levers well to distribute the WD 40 and disolve as much of the old grease
as you can get. You could then flush with acetone to remove the WD 40 but
this is probably not essential. Relube with a light oil like 3 in 1 silicon
lubricant

oh, the outrage. or something..
had our first patient come in today ranting about the mammography guidelines...took an attending surgeon and PA to "clue her in" so she'd calm down. people are sooooo freaking stupid, people are sheep. scared when the wind blows a different direction.

By your own admission if you are not great at crits you don't need a hot crit bike. Buy dependable that will survive a crash or that you can afford to replace if it gets roughed up. I have seen plenty of alum. bikes crossing the line first, beating expensive state of the art carbon bikes. Why, because the rider was stronger, smarter and motivated.

As much traveling as I've done in the states, I'm an international exploration virgin. Not including the touristy parts of Costa Rica.
My point being, I have no worthy advice to offer other than to consult a magic eight ball, some darts and a map.
