If the sticker says the main tubes are cromoly, then the chain stays and seat stays probably are not. That's my interpretation.

I would try running something like WD 40 through each shifter in large quantities to wash out the grease as completely as possible. Work the levers well to distribute the WD 40 and disolve as much of the old grease as you can get. You could then flush with acetone to remove the WD 40 but this is probably not essential. Relube with a light oil like 3 in 1 silicon lubricant

oh jesus...here we go again, evolving medical guidelines are the new media flavor of the week.. oh, the outrage. or something.. had our first patient come in today ranting about the mammography guidelines...took an attending surgeon and PA to "clue her in" so she'd calm down. people are sooooo freaking stupid, people are sheep. scared when the wind blows a different direction.
