I went into j and r looking for the Fuji and fell in like with the Sony DSC-WX1. Anyone has had or heard if this camera? The only Sony product I've ever owned was a pair of overpriced crappy headphones so how are their cameras?

Got it last night and I'm loving it. Couple of my friends who were amazing at CoD4 compared it to halo 2/3 and were getting really frustrated. But I'm sure they'll come around and love it soon enough.

I love it when you get offered a side-quest only to be prompted to buy the
side-quest as DLC from XBOX live.

My wife is an academic. Her profession gauges how good a search engine is by their ranking on the results page
Googling my name will hit many others before my actual details appear.
Googling my wife's name (and its not uncommon) will hit her as #1.
I tell people not to put too much personal detail out there. The web is an elephant and rarely forgets.

Awesome editing of the 24 hour game-a-thon Mike. The time lapse from the camera sitting in the corner of the room + the on camera moments worked out great. From someone who donated and was in the ustream chatroom for several hours of this (and even made it into the quick chatroom shot in the episode ) this was really fun to watch, especially with the background music during Jeff's LAN party ...

Funning to think I know a person (pro photographer) who has a camera priced
higher than any thing on this weeks show.

Wow, I really liked it.
Not only was it good, but there is a lot of potential for what the show could be.
It's weird though that in the original, the reporter guy who ended up leading the resistance was the friggin Beastmaster, and now it's Bailey.

An evening of fine beverages, retro internet staples that we'll forever miss, Hulu's free glory days are numbered, the hyped launch of Windows 7, private Google Voice voicemails showing up in public searches, Amelia Earhart's final resting place possibly located, and the sexy and delicious bacon bra!

I actually like it. From what I've heard the crowds and lines are
RIDICULOUS and anything that reduces the number of people going makes the
experience better for people who do go. That said, it's not really fair to
cut out a large portion of the fan base who can't/isn't willing to shell
out the extra $25.

The hard disk could be dying, backup!
You could trying running scan disk with the option for checking the surface of the disk for defects, or you could try some thing like spinrite.

Olive oil of course! Sometimes mixing popcorn with eggs makes a nice light
fritatta. I also eat popcorn like cereal with milk, honey, and raisins.
