The firefighters were among the New Haven 20 -- one Hispanic and 19 white firefighters -- who fought the city after it threw out the results of a 2003 firefighter promotion exam that left too few minorities qualified for promotions. Books can be easily transferred from one public library or major school library to another here. So you are not dependent on just one location. Sort of a lend lease program. Our libraries more up to date than yours. As for the Nook, excepting 3g access I will wait for the less than 100 dollar low power laptops that should be coming soon..

Address has no guarantee of being the same. Look into dyndns.org to give you a fixed hostname that you can log into. This will get messy though, because the corn dryer interface will be on a private LAN address that you will need to tunnel to somehow - port forwarding, NAT, and DMZs might become an issue.

If it comes to PS3 or PSP (or even DS) I will buy it. I don't run Windows, and doubt a Linux port is in the works.
Galactrix is alright, but not as good as PQ. The setting, the gameplay, can't be matched.
Pretty excited for this, but if it turns out to be a 360-exclusive (seems unlikely, but you never know), I can live without it, like that Gyromancer, but will be sad.

Dr. Fate looks pretty cool actually. Although I don't remember him being so ripped.
Hawkman looks pretty faithful to the source, although I find it hard to believe it won't look ridiculous. It'll be entertaining even if it's a bad performance.
Stargirl.......yuck. Looks really unappealing, mainly because of her mask. Looks like she has an enlarged forhead.

Read the warranty carefully! Their parts prices are a bit high compared to what you can get on the street.
Ask these guys what they think.

We normally bake a ham, but our new house does not have a working oven, and until our old house sells (Monday next week ... my electrical repairs passed inspection as being "professional grade and surpassing the quality of a contractor" - the fact I did them and we didn't pay a licensed sparky became a nasty contractual wrangle last week), and my being currently unemployed, we don't have the ...

The Marvel Encyclopedia might be a good choice. Sometimes kids tend to "rise to the occasion" if you give them something that is above the level they normally read at. If it's something he is motivated to read, he will be more likely to try to figure it out than if it's something he has no interest in.
That being said, Marvel has a line of comics geared for younger kids called "Marvel ...

Ok kids, its been since college since i've had my PS2 which i sold about 4 years ago. Having watched TRS for about a year for movie reviews, I want to get back into gaming bad! I like aspects of both systems, but haven't had hands on of either for a while. important things to me are:
Game selection, i honestly don't know if 1 system gets better games than the other, or if they get the same ...

Great Episode. Alex's reaction to Dan's "coloring inside the line..." comment was hilarious.
And The Postal Serivce's "Give Up" is simply amazing, I still bump it in my IPod on a regular basis. Though I die a little inside when I hear people talk about how great and new Owl City is.

I'd say Dark Knight and Star Trek for sure. Pixar movies are also fantastic in HD. I've also got Blade Runner which looks really good, but it's tough to say it's a "must own."

Hey folks, aussie here and I might have a chance to get a notebook/netbook from the US in the next couple of months. Now this poses a couple of problems:
1. Our powerpoints put out 220 volts (is it 220 or 240? always thought it was 240) and I noticed that my ancient Dell notebook's powerbrick plugged into 220v and 110v powerpoints, from which i deduced that it takes in 110-220 and puts out ...
