PDK in D mode is adaptive except in Sport Plus, which should shift at redline (and should not be used on the street). Its adaptive algorithm learns over time - it does not just replicate the last time.

Hi there I have 2 parts large plastic parts that have come from inside the clamshell (above the drain holes) and are clearly part of the roof mechanism. The roof was making a clicking noise when opening and closing and upon inspection it seems that it was being caused by the mechanism rubbing against these parts (as they are badly scored). This suggests they were not properly installed or ...

I dont own a TT-but coming from Turbo'd cars (Evo's and mazdaspeed's) I'd look first at the timing and ignition tables for your tune- do you run an AFR gauge? tuned for 93 oct, ect? I would start with the tune tables and see if there is anything that needs to be changed to fit your mods (if this is not a custom dyno tune)-then start with fuel del.-pump, injcetors, ect. If you're hitting ...

Have a morbid , I guess, question. Had my car for years, read often about this curse, kinda understand what gives. But, how do you know it's happened. Is it just a blood curling crunching and thrashing about behind. Is there any justifiable comfort to be had with a preemptive replacement? Regards PK

If the battery is disconnected then the DME will need to relearn idle and your driving style - that is normal. As far the CEL - you need to have the fault code(s) read. There are several hundred things that can cause a CEL.
