Weird... I've owned a few FW900's... Never liked them. Poor geometry, short lifespan... Always hated Trinitron CRTs anyway with their visible support structures, often called "wires" in the aperture grille mask. Yes, the signal is analog, so "bits" don't really apply. I still think the best signal option is to probably do component or SDI into a RGBHV converter and see how much of the bit...

Most of the movie was smoked, at least day interiors were, to soften the colors, contrast, etc. and give the movie a patina that was the opposite of the high-key colorful look of many high school movies. But it was hard to smoke very large spaces that couldn't be sealed up from drafts. So for those scenes, I tried the Tiffen Smoque filter. I started using the filter around the time of "Astronaut Farmer", another...

Hi guys, selling SIX (6) Led-z MiniPar light fixtures, this are literally Immaculate, they only have been used two times, possibly three, don't even remember the last time I tucked them out of the Storm case in which They are stored in. This are AC powered by a 110/220 AC adaptor, or they can be used with many Battery types including the RED BRICKS with several hours of use, depending off course on battery chosen and size :-). This go for...

INFRARED
David,
Are the Red One and similar digital cameras capable of recording infra-red photography?
Is there some kind of filter or adapter to buy/rent?
Would you get better results with infra-red film?
Let's say you're on a Red shoot, and the insane, frothing director throws down his bottle of gin and says, "...

I think you will find Mitchell base much more the standard. I don't think I have seen a 150mm mount on a professional set in over 10 years. There is nothing wrong with the mount, it's just that all most all dollies, and other systems use a Mitchell base.

they said they used a couple of ex1's in the shoot as well to give the documentary feel, its possible they used one of those cameras and matched it to red footage. or the gun was mounted to the red camera and moved by someone else. the actor just had to hold on.

That would be awesome! I love OCC and have been watching them since I was about 11, 4 years ago. I can see a Red bike looking insane, and it would be very original.

well to tell you the truth the best results gives you the option that gives you the best result :) Most have some use.personally i don't use the log once - you can stick with REC709 - gives a good result most of the time. If you are doing film out... some say dont use color :) i have not much expertise with film out - means always had good results without calibrated monitors - just giving files ...

Does anyone else think that this is one of the most interesting times for the profession... think about it.
Red one, Canon, Scarlet/Epic (TBA) and Sony, JVC, Panasonic etc have all excelled in the past few years.
The NLE's have always followed suit with incredible developments. The plug-ins have been spot on and last but not least... the glass is so cristal and bokeh beautiful.
Thanks to all ...

The best you can do is offer your product in a more convenient format. Example: Netflix OnDemand offers instant streaming.
