You Were an Outgoing Kid When you were a kid, you had no problem expressing yourself. There's a good chance you started talking early - and never stopped! You had a lot of friends, and unlike most kids, you weren't shy around adults. You were well adjusted and confident. You enjoyed speaking up and participating. Killian's Red is the standby. I get a little more adventurous when I have company. Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat would taste good about now. What was the last wine you had that really impressed you?

Indian Chicken With a Curry Butter This is a great recipe for chicken, a tandoori style but a butter sauce with coconut milk. I love it. I also make a couscous with coconut milk, but sorry can't find the recipe, but it is also very good. Otherwise ... PINA COLADAS for me.

Last year my son and family weren't coming for Christmas, but all the kids/grandkids were here for Thanksgiving, so the night of Thanksgiving we all decorated the tree, then got up the next morning and exchanged gifts, ate breakfast and lazed around in our pj's until about noon. It was so nice and leisurely because there was no Christmas feast to prepare. We had 35+ for Thanksgiving the day ...

Did you add some vital wheat gluten? Whole wheat flour contains bran, which cuts the gluten strands. You can compensate for that by adding some gluten. Also, whole wheat flours may need a little extra water to fully hydrate. Try adding just a litte more water next time.

I really haven't noticed a particular smell or taste associated with crock pots, but I'm not very senstitive (in oh so many ways).
To eliminate possibilites, try crock pot liners. If nothing else, these plastic cooking bags make clean-up better.

Two resources for your here - look at the left top edge of the screen under the turkey and you'll see a link for the Thanksgiving HQ - a huge amount of info there.
Also, there is a Thanksgiving Forum for specific questions...
