Keep in mind that is year over year comparisons. The market was down quite considerably in the beginning of 09 meaning prices have rebounded in the 2nd half of the year. Hope I am reading that correctly

I think nobody can answer this question as nobody knows exactly what factors Google takes into consideration while making the ranking. But the possible reason is that the site itself needed to be changed, I mean the content.

Make some research on yahoo, google have different algorithm, we don't really what it is. I top yahoo before during my school project, same with Google they crawl more relevant websites with the keyword use.
However, its not enough, study, try to discover yahoo's hidden secret.

I totally agree! Doing both On-Page and Off-Page Optimization would be the
best thing to do.. On-Page deals with the proper use of title tags,
alt-tags(this is use when your describing images), h1/h2 tags (headings),
description and keywords while Off-Page deals with building links.. All the
techniques that generates back links fall under this category..

If you intend to promote your video through your web site, than yes. Putting link, or embedding video would definitively improve that video in SE's index. I would advise you to link to your videos from your site, and to place some kind of logo or web address to your videos, you could at least get some visitors from videos. I hope that I was helpful.
