What do you ladies do for Halloween costumes? Do you dress your multiples the same or different? Last year I dressed my boys in different costumes they were Nemo and Squirt from "Finding Nemo" this year I want them to be some type of animals. I was going to dress them in different costumes like one a monkey and the other a Tiger but they both live dinosaurs, so if I decide to dress them...

Hi - Noah and Sadie will be 8 months in a few days. I just stared to introduce chicken (from baby food jar) and will be adding yogurt soon. I have been doing 2 meals/day and 3 bottles (with 9 ounces) for a while now and think I should move to 3 meals because they are drinking ALL of their milk now. I have been doing only 2 meals because they are still taking 3 naps a day and I just could...

Anyone start fruits and veggies before 6 months? My son loves oatmeal but daughter isnt so crazy about it. I was thinking maybe if I mixed in some fruit or veggies she may like then eat more oatmeal (then sleep longer) :} - babies will be 5 months on the 25th of this month so just a little over 5 months now. Opinion? Michele

Okay, so every time we go to the doctor's or the health unit for needles I get "in trouble" because the girls don't drink enough milk. We breastfeed until their first birthday and then switched to milk in sippy cups. I just can't get them to take very much milk from their cups. I offer the milk at every meal and before every nap and bedtime. Here's what a typical day looks like for us. ...

More questions! How much should I be feeding the girls at this point? I usually stop when they become disinterested, but what if I am over feeding them? They are afterall, almost 25 pounds and 22 1/2 pounds *blush*. We will be starting milk in 1 week, and I know at that point they should get most of their foods from solids and drinking less milk. They don't seem like they would survive on ...

Is anyone attempting cloth diapers with their twins? My husband has been researching this pretty extensively and I am all for saving money and the environment. So far it looks like bumGenius ( http://www.cottonbabies.com/product_info.php?cPath =98&products_id=1299 )is the winner but I wanted to hear from some moms who have tried these cloths diapers. My understanding is that the concern with...

I have been totally against co-sleeping before as I don't want my baby to get too attached to sleeping with me and have never done it til now I am pretty desperate. I have tried several sleep training methods with my daughter (my son sleeps all night) and nothing seems to work. 4th week straight of her getting up every 30 minutes starting at midnight each night through til 430 - at this point I...

I have two older boys and a set of boy/girl twins that are 17mths old. I can't STAND the term "twins" and don't want them to be called that (no offense to anyone else). So far we've been referring to them as "the babies", but they are not really babies anymore. I thought about calling them something like "the peanuts", but would ideally like something I wouldn't have to change again in a few...

My boys are almost 10months now and my younger one is being such a bully. Peyton takes all Davins toys, thinks Davin is a drum set and hits him, climbs over him and pokes his eyes. Davin just sits there and smiles at his brother but he got pushed too hard yesterday and they both started pusing and pulling eachother and screaming. I seperated them and tried telling them its not ok which Im sure ...

Hello! My twin boys are 11 weeks and are 12.5 lbs and 10.25 lbs. I cannot wait until the smaller one reaches 11 lbs to start making an attempt at getting them to STTN. My question is; what did you do to finally get them to sleep? My current plan is to put one in the pack n play in the guest room and the other in thier crib - and let them CIO one weekend. Does anyone have any better ...

Hello to all you BTDT moms. My husband and I are expecting twins around January/December. We are trying to get things in order early given the stories of difficult pregnancies with multiples. Thanks to many of you BTDT moms that gave me your top ten must have items, we managed to tackle the registry this weekend. When we left Babies R Us with a must have double stroller, that was much too ...
