My oldest son is turning 3 this November! After his b-day I'll have a better idea on what he's getting for x-mas. Gift Ideas : a transformer that lights up and talks, clothes, and art supplies. Stocking: kids scissors, action figures, books, toothbrush, and treats too!

Oh Shayna, I'm so sorry you're feeling overwhelmed. Yes, it does get better! I too felt the same way you do; that I wasn't enjoying the time that they were tiny babies, that I was just doing what was necessary for their care and not really playing with them or engaging them intellectually, and that I was a total grump?or almost completely useless from lack of sleep. I am here, and so are all the other multiples moms, to tell...

We got A&A the Little People House, Little People Discovery Airport (it's $40 at Target, but there's a Target coupon out right now that's $20 off so it made the airport $20, can't beat that), Parents brand Bee Bop Band (it's a drum with some instruments inside, I'm sure it'll drive me crazy after a while, but I think they'll like it since it makes so much noise), VTech airplane, a couple books and?a...

Texting. I think it is so overdone. I get it is necessary sometimes but really? Do you need to be THAT connected 24/7. Sometimes people are downright rude with their texting too. Texting at dinner, during parties, while you are talking to them, etc. One of my pet peeves. Along with that is the phones where you can get your email, surf the web, etc. Again, why do you need to be connected all the time? I like to be places where I can't be...

When mine were little I put the Super Playyard around the tree. It's easy enough to take down if you have company over and you don't want your tree in a corral. Just as easy to put back up when the company leaves:)

I admit it I'm a FB addict. I check the feed, play on my farms, tend to my restaurant & cafe, & play scrabble multiple times a day. It's mostly a time killer for me. =) I don't text now but probably will in the future. I imagine it will be a great way to communicate w/ the kids when they are older. My ODD is already lobbying for a cell phone. LOL Buying DVDs is something I don't get. I know people with...

Hi Ladies, Well, I have to be honest, I am having such a hard time having twins--they are 8 weeks old. It is so much hard, hard work there are days I just want to scream. I feel like if my son is not sleeping or eating, he is crying and it is making me CRAZY. He wants to be held all the time and that is not possible with twins. It has gotten worse the past two weeks. Before 6 weeks I always said he was such an easy baby and then WHAM! He...

Those first 6 months are all starting to blur together, but I'll try to remember as well as I can. When did your twins get their first teeth? They both got bottom two middle teeth around 4 months, within days of each other. It was a while after that (maybe age 6 months) before the uppers came in, again within days of each other. When did your twins sit up on their own? Around 5 or 6 ...

Hi Annie. Congratulations on your twins! Are you getting excited yet? I was sick for more than my first trimester and actually lost weight. It took until about 16/17 weeks before I even started gaining again. Overall, I managed to gain 35lbs which is right on track. After a few months of bedrest (long story, my twins were born at 34 weeks and 5 days. They were 4lbs12ozs and 5lbs14ozs. They ...

I like the lavendar smell of the bedtime bath and lotion. J&J makes it and most of the big box stores have a store version as well. Even with both my babies having sensitive skin, the bedtime lavendar lotion doesn't bother them. It really makes them smell "like baby" ;)
