LTD, How do you value the company?....I have asked this question on the boards before and as you seem to have good knowledge of the industry, how would a stock of this price be valued? Ciphergen / Vermillions recent hit propelled the company to a $132m market cap. Given HDVY's share structure......If we had a similar hit/market cap this would take the stock to .80 cents right.....I know this is all hypothetical and based on fuzzy maths....

ehwest1 For a number of years, a number of researchers around the world have been working on developing a new test for prostate cancer---some are 3- gene tests, compared to HDC's 4-gene tests: http://www2.med.umich.edu/prmc/media/newsroom/details.cfm?ID=54 The point is, these tests reportedly are still under development. The HDC tests are past the development stage, and soon to be available commercially by leading diagnostic companies...

ehwest, you are correct, they do use pattern recognition, and that very well could infringe on HDC patents. I don't know the answer to that. The main thing to look at from your links is this: The study was one of the first to show that a proteomic pattern could discriminate ovarian cancer from normal samples, but eventually drew criticism from some in the research community who questioned the reproducibility of the study. Point being,...

I think the warrants are the only thing holding this down in the 20's. I'm glad they're converting now, it will be good to get as many of them out of the way as possible before the big news hits the wire. With the warrants out of the way, the stock could really run hard and fast.

Just thinking out loud on the keyboard. What do you suppose would happen to the PPS if we all requested delivery of our stocks in HDVY? I believe there are a minimal number of shareholders - somewhere around 500 at last tally. What would the market makers do when they no longer had these millions of shares available to borrow and shuffle back and forth amongst each other? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Have a great day, PW (Voluntary...

ehwest, i'm sorry to be so blunt... but, are you serious???? did you not read their website at all? this test is not even a valid test. The information on their website concerning prostate cancer is from 2002. Nothing has been done since then. There is no test, there is no lab working on a test. It's actually quite simple. I don't why HDC hasn't gone after other entities illegally using its technology. The only reason I can think of is that if HDC did sue an un-named big company for patent infringement, that company would simply do a hostile takeover of HDC to get its patents instead of paying damages and/or royalties. However, with the increases in outstanding shares due to the exercise of warrants and the PPS ...

You're right again John. This is exactly what they tried before. The circumstances are exactly the same. There is no difference between what the "evil empire" attempted to pull off in the past and what they are doing today.
