I've been working on one via wifi for days... TONS of wireless downloading, never a glitch. Updated the firmware with USB and never plugged into it again. FWIW - it's through a Pakedge W3.

Lighting Control Solutions - HELP
Published (2009-11-23 17:46:00)
On November 23, 2009 at 16:53, sacer99 said... Has anyone tried or used Mcontrol. I read on another forum that someone is using Mcontrol software interfaced with via the MRF-350 to control an entire home lighting system. What type of hardware (dimmers switches) does Mcontrol require. Is this costly as well? Listen, this may be true, but they probably have a REAL lighting system, not a bunch of switches hacked together that might work. While...

HDMI Rebranding / Logos Updated...
Published (2009-11-23 19:19:00)
its not really possible to avoid hdmi. its just an ass backwards attempt at a solution. its just frustrating to see them change the spec every 4 minutes. and even more frustrating that cable companies just slap an hdmi port on their boxes without any thoughs on specs or standards. or that hdmi switching takes 10 seconds. bastards. just make it work!

Tried out a few spots. Found one that works maybe 90%. It felt like the old days of URC press and pray during the demo. Some codes come up to 3-4 seconds late if at all. Unplugging wireless router helped too but still wasn't perfect.

Mitsubishi Discrete HDMI codes???
Published (2009-11-23 21:38:00)
Search for Mitsubishi Discrete HDMI in the NG forum. There are 2 posts there that will likely help. If you cannot figure out a valid function number using my CCF (available in link from the threads I reference), email me because I have a 62" mits and I used one of the functions (HDMI/MonLink I think) from my original CCF for HDMI-1.

i prefer rack ears whenever possible, it just seems like a cleaner look TO ME. but custom rack shelves at the very least. sorry i dont have a cheaper source for shelves for you, but the Chief reps at cedia this year told me they were making shelves now. that may be a good resource to quote against MA. You might want to calm down a tad bit. Actually, what you have is a scientist, Dr. Jones, talking candidly about sexing up a graph to make his conclusions more persuasive. This is not a good thing thing to do -- I'd go so far as to call it unethical -- and Jones deserves some of the loss of face that he will suffer. Unfortunately, this is the sort of thing that happens all the time in both ...

No I haven't (and being totally honest wouldn't know how ;-) ) That said if anyone can do this and is willing to share, would be hugely appreciated. Even for basic 2-way control of music. Have an AppleTV in our showroom and really impressed with what it does & how it does it (even tho it only does a limited amount of stuff and could do so much more!!). The great thing about AppleTV is that ...

Well had to abandon that Idea, had a large downpour the other day and found that the weather caused the reciver to go a little crazy. But in the end with the remote I had a AV Media card which came with a controller which was also RC6 signal and it worked with the bose no issues using the 1974 code, but the thoshiba still would not work so I guess thoshiba change something in the signal.

The URC dimmers are very well priced. RadioRa is more money and needs more parts to make it work (for your scenario). Maybe look at a UPB solution by Simply Automated or others. Or you could try X10 for 1/10th of the cost and 1/1,000th of the reliability...

The general trend of this government environment, worse in California than in most states, is part of what turned me conservative. The deal is, guys, that they want to tell you how to run your life because they think they know better than you, and they will figure out arguments to back up that desire. For instance, look at this: After 10 years, the commission estimates the regulations will ...

Definitely C over B, smoother design less cluttered confusing/straining to look at. C vs. A in the images above I'm slightly preferencial to C as its a more impactful and symetrical interface. However if A only had 8 equal buttons a a smoother or bolder type face it may be equally ameanable, or possibly even preferable. Great starts, and good luck.

This is a Fuji 55 inch in an office conference room with Polyvision mounted to the bottom. The polyvision connects the plasma to a PC and lets you do all kinds of fancy stuff with presentations. Small part of a current job. Simon.
