So, What Has Happened Here?
Published (2010-02-05 21:14:00)
Mike, I am so glad that you told that story here. I finally know the whole story of what happened at PugZoners. As it happened, I had joined PugZoners a few weeks before all of that stuff happened. I really had no idea of what was going on and just gathered information by bits and pieces from those posting on Pug Stories. Want to add my thanks to you Mike for all you have done in the past and are continuing to do. I...

Dixe was at the vet this morning

No, I wasn't prescribed anything to put on it and we aren't real sure it was a UTI. It could be but it showed up some pretty nasty bacteria from the swab. Nasty stuff. Yucky! I have washed her bedding and cleaned things up. Whatever made it flourish, I am not sure. But I will be extra vigilant that is for sure.

So Fizz had had this ear infection that just refuses to go completely away. One night recently, he was fine one minute and the next, he was falling all over and could not stand or walk. (And yes, it took me a minute to get my heart started up again) I called the hospital and told them I was coming right in. I got there just as his vet was almost ready to go home (and I would have ...

I always end up getting sucked into this show. This time I have no favorites so far. Frankly, I cannot get excited about any of the gals. What do you think?

OMG I probably should put this in the RANTS section because I am sooooo pissed. Again I went looking a HWB available listing. Lela... 7 months old and blind because some MO^&^&^& FU%^%%&%&%& kicked her in the head when she was a puppy and detached her retinas? ? I could and would love to do the same to the son of a bitch that did this. OMG it would feel sooooooooo ...

I was contacted by a member of our group . They know I have rescued several puppy millers. But she is doing her senior project on the horrid puppy mills. Of course I think this is wonderful since the more people get the word out about them, the more aware people will be. So she is going to come to the house soon and talk to me. I will answer her questions but what I was wondering is...

and we need to "pray" her home. She is transporting a few rescues and has a long drive ahead of her. We need to pray for her safety, good weather and no mechanical problems.(I try to cover it all when I pray for someone!) She may not post before sometime tomorrow, but I told here we would be watching for a post to let us know she is hpme, safe and sound.

I sure hate to come here these days and find no one home. Where is everyone? I know some are on FaceBook, but there are 125 pug forums there, and I have never come across anyone I know. I miss the old forum and all of you, and I know others must feel the same.

Ok everyone, I know there are tons of topics here about this, but I am looking for that perfect med for my old Homer. He has arthritis and I think the cold weather is really aggravating it ( I KNOW I feel too.) So I am looking for a glucosamine supplement that is not too expensive, works well and is easy to give. He is picky and not a great pill taker, unless they are small. Come on ...

Well, I gave my first fosters, Louise and Serena, to their new family today. It was such a bitter sweet event. It was hard because the family lives in Thomasville, GA so it's not like they will just down the street or even the next town over. They are three and a half hours away. :-( However, a wonderful woman, Lorraine, from SEPRA did the home visit for us at Central Florida Pug Rescue...

Nikki and I and 2 other friends (we are the Bangor Area Pug Society) recently placed 3 puggies :) First I got a call about 2 puppies, a 9 month old male and a 7 month old female. Mosey and Sisco. Well their person said they were destroying their house. for the past several weeks I was trying to convince her to crate them when she was at work (only about 4-5 hours a few days a week) ...

On Sunday, Feb 7th,my furry heartbeat will be 15!! For those of you that don't know, Pugsley is my first Pug, got him as a puppy when I was 8 months pregnant with Christian. He was to be a playmate for my oldest son Michael. Who knew he would become "my baby" and when the human baby came, it felt like I was raising twins. I loved every minute of it. He was the best puppy, totally ...

I can graduate in September! That is if I can pass this stupid economics class I am taking right now. If I do, I can petition to graduate in September, which is perfect because I finish my last course in September and my parents will still be here (not in Florida). I am pumped!!
