hello everyone i was hoping i would be able to find some help since this forum has been around for as long as i can remember. recently i bought an illegal satelight reciever that uses the internet to get the codes to recieve the encrypted channels. anyways i have a feeling my isp is either blocking the ports that the box needs to connect to the servers or is blocking my connection to the servers ip addresses i was wondering if anyone would be...

Do you know what ports that your school has open? Normally ports such as 21,25,443,80,8080 and a few other normal ports are always open. Know which ports are open you can figure out which socks severs you can access. also do you have access to a machine off campus ( ie: know a friend living off campus) that can run a sever from you.
