These rebirths of centers is only proving that bowling is more for entertainment than sport. I don't mind fun leagues (I'm in one), provided people follow bowling etiquette. That's what would bother me the most.

Greaves sounds very familiar to me. I believe she was in a summer league I bowled in at Drakeshire Lanes in the early 90s. I can even picture her too, I think. RIP Sam.

private enterprise who pays for their TV time from ESPN, they can do whatever they damn well please when it comes to what would be free product placement on nationally broadcasted TV.

Alrighty, here we go.
First day of my junior scratch league. Actually, I pre-
bowled for next week too because I might go to the upcoming MJBT tournament.
Couldn't find a line at first, then couldn't carry. Started with a 160. Next game I started carrying, 226. Third game I left some splits, but needed a spare and good count to win and I got it, 185.

The
real measure of success will be whether anybody watches any of it on ESPN, since we all know who won. If not, and ESPN stops televising the PBA, Mr. Clark will have to seriously reconsider his verdict.
