Welcome to PTO! You’ve come to the right place for comfort and support. I'm not sure how interstate transfers work. Someone else may be along to help you with that question. I am sorry that you're going through all the loss in your family. If must be very difficult for both you and your husband. You'll find lots of understanding and care here within the PTO community. You know I have always had a problem with people who said they are christian, but never really practice what they preached. However, that being said no one is perfect, not even Christians. For me, I go to church for myself, to hear what is being said, and I try to treat people with honestly and respect. The bible tells us not to judge, and I work very hard not to do that. Maybe sometimes I faulter a bit, but for the most part I think I do. I...

I'm always truly amazed when I read that women write to their man every day, speak on the phone sometimes more than twice a day and visit on a regular basis too. I wonder what they find to write about after all the conversations they have over the phone or at visits, I think its wonderful that they have so much to say to each other. I write to my pp's about once a week if I have the time, I ...

you did the right thing. My daughter adopted a red nose pit. Beautiful dog!! This poor guy was dumped and already labeled by the rescue organization as "euth due to space". They clicked right away. He was already a year and a half and had just been neutered, so he was big and strong and still full of testosterone. Unfortunately he was just too strong for her and got away once and tried to kill ...

Did you get married by a minister or justice of the peace? Do you have a marriage license? Well then, you ARE married, your marriage IS legal. Let people say what they want, they are NOT in your shoes! In my state (ID) you can get an annulment as opposed to a divorce if you have not "consumated" the marriage, BUT you are STILL legally married, in the eyes of the law............if and until you ...

My brother is in Butner Low. I was just there 3 weeks ago (i live in Cali). It is really laid back and the CO's are very cordial. The kids are running around and the food is not so bad. There are actually 5 prisons on the Butner FCI grounds. There is max, med., low, camp and medical. Which one is your husband at?

I have not been sentenced yet but my lawyer says that I will probably be going to LEX FMC via SS. I do not know what to expect at all, I have never been in jail or prison before. Will I have to join a gang? I am terrified. I am afraid I will not come out alive. I made a terrible mistake and am willing to be held accountable for it, and am already taking steps to change my life.

Seriously, I think I'm smarter in some areas and he is smarter in others.

I know there are a few here with loved ones that have gone through IPTC so
I hope they will stop by soon and respond. From my perspective, no one goes
through a six or eight month program and comes out no longer an addict
simply for having gone through the program. It is a long road to overcome
that beast and it is fraught with pitfalls.
