I have a magicolor 2300 and when I print labels the black ink dosent seem to stay on the paper real well. some of the labels are fine but a lot of them are messed up in the black areas. If I print on regular paper things seem to be fine.

This printer prints blurry on the left hand side of page unless you hold down with a lot of pressure on the top cover. The latches look okay and can see no adjustment. Help

Follow the below steps to install cartridges: 1> If you are installing a new cartridge, remove the sticker and transparent tape completely from the bottom of the cartridge. 2> Unless it is already open, press down on the cartridge lever to raise the cartridge lid. 3> Insert the black cartridge or photo cartridge in the left carrier or the color cartridge in the right carrier. 4> Snap the lid closed 5> Close the access cover.

I blotted both cartridges,they both showed the right colors,but still the same results-only red text when using copier.When something is scanned to the pc and then printed,or when printing off the web page,everything is normal-text is black.When copying using the copier alone,same results-red.

There is a part number on it, which I can't read because it is upside down and blurred. Why don't you try googling the part number or maybe going to the HP parts website and searching the part number and see what you get?

I didn't refilled the toner cartidge, it works properly with another drum cartidge. I get the toners with the printer.

Definitely fuser. The teflon sleeve has moved out of position and needs to be replaced. Moe can probably help if you are somewhere he can send a repair kit to.

I've had people who cleaned that roller with solvent. That basically destroyed the roller and the drum in the cartridge that it contacted. What you did couldn't possibly have caused any problems whatsoever. I will chastise you for doing it before you came to the forum. The Charge Transfer Roller or CTR will not cause the problems you are experiencing. They are confined to the toner cartridge. ...
