Published (2009-11-20 10:42:00)
So, I had my 18wk dr apt yesterday and things went well. The baby's heart rate is at 140 (he actually felt like sitting still for it). I asked her about the fact that i keep seeing dots and she told me that she would like me to get my eyes checked (since I haven't had them checked since 3rd grade (1993) and she wants to rule that out.). I do need glasses so that may be contributing to it. I gained 2lbs in 4wks, I was SO upset....

GETTING WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOUR BIRTH EXPERIENCE A good childbirth experience should be happy and gratifying, as well as safe. You are much more likely to have a good experience if you establish early a good communication with your physician or midwife. Sometimes it is the expectant parents who must take the lead in establishing a rapport, but don't let that hold you back. It's your childbirth experience. It's up to you to let...

Do you go by months or weeks?
Published (2009-11-19 11:19:00)
My first pregnancy when people would ask me how far along I was I would tell them in months, with second, I would say the weeks... by the third, I said "um not sure, I am due in June".  How about you?  When people ask you how far along you are did you tell them in weeks or months?
