Nice design, but lose the sound effect. It slows down the loading of your page, which is already a bit heavy due to the graphics. You need to reach a broad audience, and many of them will still be on dial-up and people hate to wait more than 30-60 seconds for a page to load. Good luck!

My web site has a log in for customers, and Firefox is returning: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete I have never seen such an error. Anyone have any idea what it means? Can this be related to server issues, or has my log in script gone bonkers? I haven't made any changes to it. thanks

1) I do a lot of gaming (WoW, WC3, StarCraft) and use Ventrilo voice chat a lot. Rather than pay my monthly fee to typefrag, is there any way to set up something on my powweb packages to offer me Ventrilo voice chat? Ideally a 40 person server, but as little as 10 would suffice for my needs. 2) I was recently informed I have a 250Gb monthly cap by my ISP. I share a lot of content via ...

I am tinkering with a JavaScript drag and drop and resize script. It works in Firefox, Opera and Safari but not IE for me. I was unsure if I should place the contents in a div with a defined style. I tried that at there was no difference. There is probably something missing, but the code passes validation. If any of you have the chance to test this in your browsers, let me know what ...

Hi there My site has a form for users to enter details and then click 'submit' which sends an email with the details. It works fine in firefox but in IE the information the user inputs is left out of the email and I can't figure out why. I'm using the 'get' method - the code is below. Am at a bit of a loss as to what to try so any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Billy. HTML...

I'm in the process of transferring 2 domains (I've recently taken over the webmastery for them) to Powweb servers due to various reasons. However, I would like to make sure that this javascript exploit - which does lots of nasty things ( http://www. webmasterworld.com/analytics/3696538.ht m ) - is an IIS issue and not a *nix one??? Any info anyone? Could something like this happen at Powweb? ...

Is there some way to convert a Unix timestamp into a javascript date() object or vice versa? Basically I currently have a unix timestamp available to js and I need to see whether that timestamp refers to today. If I can either get the unix timestamp into a date object or the reverse, I can figure out the rest myself. My alternative would be to go back into the PHP side of things and ...

I looked through for the answer to this but can't find one. Does PowWeb offer dedicated IP? If so, at what price?

Hi Guys/Girls! I'm looking for a poke in the right direction when it comes to ecommerce setups. I've got a few clients asking about upgrading their sites to include some ecommerce functionality. I know a fair bit of xhtml, css and a little php but no-where near enough to put something together myself. Most of the work i do is done with wordpress so i'm wondering if there is any ...
