The Joy of Pay Phrases
Published (2009-11-21 23:37:00)

Swell, but I already spent time a couple of days ago creating a pay-phrase, establishing what I could and could not do with it (creative misspelling NOT allowed!) and finally coming up with one both I and...

I know Lol as ' laugh out loud' But maybe seen as 'lots of laughter' or indeed 'lots of love' I think it came from web speak rather than text. Not sure though maybe one of the said younger generation may give us a clue.
I don't find it offensive and rather people would use it in these days of written communication as so much is taken in the wrong context or spirit.

Serious problem. In my opinion schools are shirking their duty when they turn a blind eye.
A parent who tells a child to 'ignore' taunts and bullying is basically telling the child that they and their welfare are of no importance. Children should be taught to defend themselves and to seek adult support when bullied; parents should make sure they get it.
