As of today any submissions for Mobile sites MUST include a brief description of the area to aid in verification of the site. This does not have to be that extensive although the more detail the better. It can include text such as: in entrance to farm opposite post office just outside number 56 on police-only layby on bridge just after sharp bend when heading north ...

Anyone know if I can use Tomtom on my newly purchased Nokia E51. If so which version do I need to buy. It doesn't appear on the official Tomtom list so I don't want to waste money buying something that doesn't work. Thanks

....and another for them? I drive past a police station every day and have always been "amused" by the way they park their cars - both patrol cars and their own private ones. They leave them however they like, on double yellow lines, with two wheels up on the pavement, blocking pedestrian routes, obstructing the view on corners etc. (and it's certainly not while on emergencies)....

I have been a TT customer in various forms since Navigator 1. I am in the process of having a hard time with them regarding moving devices from a One to a TyTn II. I use their Traffic services and this is the most important element to me. I now get a nasty error message when I try to use the service. Their support is crap and they just keep putting me off by phone. I am now looking at ...

Hi Chaps, My lad had a PS3 linked (By a HDMI cable) to an Acoustic Solutions HD Ready LCD TV. The PS3 & TV works great...BUT.... On each & every DVD that he's tried the sound (music, for instance) picture, subtitles (if selected) work great. Unfortunately when the character (whether it be Rambo, Michael Caine, or Alvin {from the chipmunks} opens their mouths...NOTHING COMES OUT!!! ...

I've an unusual query re the above arial. I'd like to fit one of these, but I need to know how flexible they are. I've only got about 4" clearence on toll booths I use a couple of times a month, and wondered if it was flexible enough to allow for this. Many thanks Malcolm _________________ GO 910 App v7.163 GPS v1.21 Western & Central Europe v710.1561 Home 2.1.2.121 WinXP ...

Just in case anyone thought that I was becoming lazy in my old age, here's a sneak preview of what I've been up to I've written another unimaginatively title piece of software, called Vehicle Utility . It allows you to split a Garmin SRF file, and save out the 3D vehicle graphics. Once you've played around with them, you can join them back up again (rather like Voice Utility ). ...

Hi, I do not do a lot of driving out of my area, but download maybe once or twice a year, is there no longer the option for a months subscription for updates as to pay nearly £20 for two sets seems expensive to me for my usage, thank you

(Topic split by Rob from: Announcement: Non SatNav General Technical Help) right, i'll start...! my main tv at home has freeview built in. the only issue i've had is that the signal does not seem to be as strong as with a stand-alone set-top box. in general it's fine (we got a proper aerial fit a couple of years ago) but 2 multiplexes from Emley Moore we have problems with...

Navigon have released the 8110. Ordered mine on Friday via the 'International page' (looks like other local shop pages need to be updated). Have been told I have a UPS parcel waiting for me when I get home. I will post my views on the new device once I have had a play I may also post some English videos on youtube, so it's not all german postings.
