Nice deflection. Now exercise your imagination, think forward a bit, and give it some thought. Or, don't. You won't be the first man to prefer that people wink at the problem of domestic abuse. My answer had nothing to do with domestic abuse. If it's a situation of the woman really in danger, of course I'd intervene. I just tend to think that most of these domestic issues need to be solved by the couple. Unless you're...

It's what she wants....There comes a point in our lives when we decide how we want to conduct ourselves in society...and there comes a point when we know right from wrong....her wanting to stay in a marriage as she is ...can only be determined that it is what she wants and desires...with perhaps little disregard for her childrens welfare, or the values they so openly teach them...so the outcome of how the children will come out in life...

Please don't confuse state taxes on goods with federal taxes. Big difference. You are so correct. So if a lot of the illegal immigrants work under a false ss # claiming max dependents, they probably dont pay a lot of Federal Taxes, if any..

he pretty much insists on doing most of the cooking because he cooks ethnic and when she does cook he always lets her know it is not very good. He's probably right. If he was married wouldn't it of been beyond stupid to of called you from his home phone and not his cell? If he was trying to hide he was married he would of always used his cell and never took the chance of you calling his house. I mean if he was really really dumb he might be married. But I doubt it. My response to it just being a formality for someone to not be divorced is why they made it a formality to be married; "it's just a piece of paper, it's over except for that" and all. They didn't have to make the marriage official in the beginning either, but they did. Same concept on both ends. People only seem to ignore the second legal contract, but the first one seemed to have had to happen. *shrug*

Illegal aliens should not have any rights or privileges. They are criminals. They are costing this country billions of dollars in welfare and health care. Illegal aliens should not have access to any Government programs except for a plane or bus ride back to their country.

I wonder why a psychiatrist, the very person with the tools to deal with issues that lead to these kinds of events, didn't seek assistance in a manner that would resolve his issues. I also wonder at the circumstances around his wanting out of the military and what was being done about that. I don't think there are any answers to keep things like this from happening... but we should be able to...

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I couldn't choose between them. Each fits in their own way. The most recent addition, a 9 month old lab/hound/vizsla mix, has helped heal the wounds left by an ex-boyfriend. By focusing on her training, I was able to let go of the pain.

Odd. Animals, even plants have innate "knowledge", yet humans do not. A human infant will not find food, build shelter, defend itself, hide, run away, etc... Perhaps we are born only knowing how to be dependent. Good news is, if another cares for us and we survive, we learn to take care of the next. As a species, we're kind of screwed if we don't.

men have no chance at a successful relation if they cant provide finances, stability, and other check lists many women have regarding essentials for a relationship I agree. There's no fun in being broke... no money..no honey . Its a fact of life. We've come to a point in time where both parties can contribute to the well-being of the relationship in terms of finances. When I have sex with the person I love, I'm making love. Sex without love is nothing more than a mechanical, functional act. Making love is completely different, it's an expression of so many indescribable emotions, thoughts and feelings. I can't have sex with someone I don't love.

I have started shaving and thought it really is a source of rectal discomfort i have found that females love it so i guess it`s worth it and yes it`s tedious but i have yet to slice anything away. I`d guess it`s easier for women and while a clean shave is great for dining purposes it`s not required as long as a bushhog isn`t necessary to find my way.

Well, I'm not against settling down with someone special. In fact, I'm currently seeking that, but the verdict isn't in yet on having children. I don't dislike children, I'm just not sure if that's the lifestyle I want. I'm very happy with the current lifestyle I have, despite the lack of companionship, and I like the freedom of having no kids. I definitely want to settle down with someone, but...

Well, the subject line above states, what my thread is about. I myself, have been dating a man, 8 years younger than me, for about 5 1/2 years. Does that make me a cougar. It makes it sound like I was on the prowl, where in reality, we worked together, liked each other, and presto. There was no hunt involved, just life. Nope, it is just you!

I think there is a big distinction between being promiscuous and doing a reasonable amount of dating which sometimes involves sex. As to the other questions, no, I do not think its safe, wise or pleasant to be copulating with multiple partners, and no, I would not date anyone who was leading that kind of life. Everyone, aside from the few who married their high school sweetheart, has had ...
