Mine took about 15 minutes. It was going at a rate of 1% every two seconds i would say. Got to about.. 56% Percent, then was done. The rest was spent on installing.

Last time someone made a thread on this, some of us threw around the idea that this particular issue may have to do with MGS4 being the only game for PS3 that's on a 50GB, dual layer Blu-Ray disc. Pretty much everyone says their disc is in perfect condition and that this happens randomly.

The Deathstreaks are just a way to help someone back into the game. I agree that camping is a problem. But there's plenty of ways to stop it. (Heartbeat Sensor) The Pavelow's and Harrier's can be pretty tough to bring down if you don't have a rocket launcher as your secondary. Sniped from across the map with an SMG? Yeah i will if i feel like it. Sometimes i do and sometimes i don't. I don't think it helps me write better or anything. It does help drown out the outside world keep distractions to a minimum.

yea i shot a grenade launcher as a defender in one of the buildings that had an armed bomb inside. I saw an enemy ran in.. and shot a grenade launcher at a wall for an easy way in... soon as i shot it.. i ran in preparing to shoot any enemies inside.. and turns out the building was collapsing on my face eventually killing myself and said "Epic Fail". I had a good chuckle out of that....

yeah i was a little shocked when i heard this as well, and i even went and listened to the song and yes it is pretty bad. i was hoping they were going to keep the japanese song cause i really liked it but luckily its not like we have to listen to the whole song over and over during the game.
