Dogs will pretty much eat anything. I prefer to feed raw. Either liver or " hamburger meat".
I'm not sure about the benefits of feeding raw/cooked but I can tell you that raw is how they would survive in the wild and thats how their great ancestor the Wolf eats his meat.

vets are not all evil money hungry parasites, quite the contrary to be precise.
the trick is finding one that will work w/ you.
i used the same vet for 13 years until i moved to TN, and i could take my dogs to them for anything and everything and they never overcharged me, most of the time they never even charged me the office visit fee.

This may sound harsh or you might even take offense but I try and tell people the truth, If your asking this question you need more experience under your belt before using this product.
You can cramp them up and do more harm than good if you don't know what your doing, One thing is for sure though they don't require near the amount a man would need the dog would be doubling over with cramps ...
