No offense brother but an agressive begger is no reason to show your firearm. The consealed firearm is meant to protect you and yours in a life threatening event not to scare off a begger. What would you have done if he kept coming, would you have shot him at 10' for begging? You had a grocery cart in hand to keep him from arms reach but at 20' you stepped aside the cart and showed your firearm. Was he a threat or an anoyance? I...

In order to assign a value to each of the firearms listed, a detailoed description of the condition is necessary. Also, the dollar value depends on whether it is a private sale, buying from a dealer, or selling to a dealer. I would suggest ordering a copy of " The Blue Book of Gun Values", as it has an excellent tutotrial on gun evaluation, as well as a very complete listing of manufacturers, ...

welcome. and i hope you passed on/mentored some of those quick draw skills to someone. imo, i belive youre on the right track to find a gun rental range to try the guns you are interested in. I think you cant go wrong with the Glock since they are considered really reliable. But as with any man made machine, anything can go wrong at any time. If youre going to be using a semi auto for ...

Fikile Mbalula said it was inevitable that innocent people would get caught in crossfire. And referring to what he called " incorrigible criminals", he urged the police to "shoot the bastards". The boy was killed on Saturday as police hunted a murder suspect, sparking a national outcry. "Yes. Shoot the bastards. Hard-nut to crack, incorrigible criminals," Mr Mbalula said. Sheer violence aion...

If they are from Ranier Ballistics, they are almost certainly NOT jacketed bullets. They are a hard-cast, swaged, and electroplated bullet. The copper layer is VERY thin. The purpose is to reduce airborne lead and eliminate barrel leading.
You load plated bullets with low-to- mid range jacketed bullet data for a bullet of the same weight. Not having a load manual handy, I can't give you...

I'm not exonerating the gunsmith. That said, I've never had a harder time changing a front site than I have had with the XD's... and we've got the special tools to do it. They are just a painfully hard site to change...

Nope.
You have a great wheelgun there..... but the +P ammo is a definite no-no. +P is best for use only in an L-frame.... no J-frame at all, no early K-frame... in fact, I wouldn't use it in a recent K-frame, either.
If you want a small-frame wheelgun that will shoot rhino rollers, get...

I don't own one. I looked at it a year ago, and decided to just save my money and buy the 229 instead after all the horror stories I heard. I HAVE heard that CCI minimags run through flawlessly, but here in MA, those run like $9/box of 100, so it made more sense to me to buy the 9mm if I was going to be spending that kind of money anyway. I hear the Walther p22 fires cheaper stuff better, but ...

It's hard to help someone pick "one" gun because of personal tastes and bias. Do you want a semi - auto or a revolver? Do you like black guns or silver guns or a two tone? How much are you going to carry? How much are you willing to pay? How much shooting do you do? You need to answer these and probably other questions befroe someone can answer more than "I like such and such" . I suggest ...

My two sources list either a M-1900 or a Safety Automatic Double Action as probable models and these guns are not collectables so do not get your hopes up. I do not see a 7 shot model listed, 6,8, and even 9 shot but no 7. In absolutely perfect shape, the one source lists the gun at about $200, the other is more in the $140 range. Both are fairly generous from what I have seen, mostly these guns ...

Revolvers are simpler to operate and generally more reliable than autoloading pistols. Other than that, it all comes down to personal preference. Either one is deadly in the hands of a proficient shooter. If you are new to handguns, I'd recommend starting with a . 22 rimfire. The only way to become proficient with a handgun is to shoot it.... LOTS. Some qualified instruction is also a good ...

Use whatever is least expensive, it doesn't matter all that much at first as most gun/ammo combinations are much more "accurate" than the shooter. As your skills improve, you will also develop your own preferences in ammo based on what others around you use, what is locally available, and its price among other reasons.
As for sights, the Glock sights were a plain dovetail as I remember and it...
