QUOTE (1984 @ Dec 1 2009, 03:39 PM) cool, thanks dude! in your opinion these are the best freeware to do the trick? DVD Shrink is. I don't think HandBrake is the best because the cropping annoys me which is why I also rip a small 15 second clip then do a test encode to make sure the cropping is correct. I actually only use HandBrake to deal with interlaced video recorded off TV using Detelecine and Decomb however...

QUOTE I would have thought that the name of a file alone is rarely important; it's the signature of the file content that will be recognised as malicious. Yes that also but many software packages have checklists and the infiltrator file knows to avoid these lists that is what I was referring to at the time. They have the same old crap in the file the only difference is that the file is a smart file that is aware of protection software...

For basic/intermediate photo editing/managing, I always recommend FastStone Image Viewer . It's definitely worth looking at.

QUOTE (turtle71 @ Dec 1 2009, 05:28 PM) New to Windows 7 64 bit. I have been using Ccleaner for a LONG time. Got the update today and my pin to start menu now has a cascade for Ccleaner. (a arrow giving me the option to RUN or OPEN the program) I have no need for either, I just would like the program shortcut pinned to my start menu. I have looked threw my Reg, looked at the ...

QUOTE (greyowl2 @ Oct 27 2009, 02:47 AM) I need a media player for my computer, but I have had no experience with any of them. I am wondering what is recommended by others who have more experience. I would personally recommend winnamp 5.56: http://www.winamp.com/ I`m using this video/audio player for quite a long time with no problems here.

You don't need all 3 MBAM by itself is enough, its that good. SAS is decent but its not going to find anything that MBAM misses generally Spybot is to outdated to be effective against malware these days.
