I bought this for the axles and then decided to go a different path. It has a v8, automatic, and Dana 44's under it. I drove it around my yard for a few minutes and parked it. It is currently licensed in Oregon. It is titled, runs OK-needs a tune-up, and complete sans battery. I don't know much about the truck, just that it runs and drives. Some rust in the quarters, rear hatch needs ...

I have been going back and forth between cutting this up into a Buggy or trying to sell it. I have decided to put it out there and see what kind of interest i get in it. This truck has NO RUST and is very clean inside and out. MOTOR: 496 Stroker 4.25 stroke BBC Full Roller, Scat Rotating Assembly, Eagle Crank, H-Beam Rods, SRP 10.2:1 Forged Pistons, Lunati Hyd Roller Vodoo Cam 625 Lift 625 ...

4.0 to TF999 to D300. I tore out my AX15 5 spd in favor of the automatic tranny in my 1 ton YJ. From what I have read this should be a bolt in swap, to a point. The problem I'm having is the input shaft on the D300 is not long enough to fit inside the seal on the back of the trans thus causing trans fluid to leak out the adapter housing. Before I installed the D300 I got a new input shaft ...

I'm considering selling my current axles for a different set. I've got a few variations of parts I'd be willing to sell so bare with me. Front axle: Mid 80s Chevy LP60, 35 spline non-neckdown inner shafts, fully rebuilt with new bearings/install/gears/locker with very little use since, 4.88s, ARB air locker. For the front inner axle only, inner knuckle to inner knuckle, with inner ...

I have a '77 Cherokee I am putting a '79 HP D60 and a CUCV 14B in. I currently will run 4.56 gears. I am building a 203/205 doubler now. It will be behind a NP-435. I have a mildly build AMC 360 for a motor. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of 46" baja claws with "75% tread" for >$400. I SO want to get them, but I am afraid I will not be running a drive train capable of dealing ...

Ok folks, it's time!!! Camo and I have picked our favorite drivers from the LCQ list to be part of the Pirate4x4 KOH "Team" and now you guys get to vote for the winner who will drive in KOH without having to participate in the LCQ. Driver #1 is the one legged wonder Chris Ridgway. Hot off a gold medal in the X Games, he's fired up for KOH. Driver #2 is Peter "The Underdog...

So last year it seemed like the desert guys like Cameron Steele and Pistola had some pretty strong opinions about how the desert sections were gonna eat the crawlers alive and how the desert was 'where the race was gonna be won' Go here to see the actuial quotes... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCqseKbFLlM Now after seeing Cameron and Pistola get denied in the area of thier expertise...

Wondering thoughts on how difficult KOH should be. I would like to see only a couple rigs finish, with the others broke down because they pushed their rigs too hard for their capability. Lack of prep is not the same as a break down. I don't want to see KOH turn into one of those sports that every rig has the same specs and all the drivers are good and everyone takes it easy so they finish and ...
