interesting to me though at 28 months its a little excessive to have had a 25% increase in premium and no claims but guess they have to make money somewhere. It is tempting to shop about as this works out more than my car insurance which is a bit bonkers. I'll probably swallow it this year and swap next year when they put it up yet again. Though the thought of putting it in a savings account is at the back of my mind as so far I'll...

Blimey Cat, That took you long enough to type. Did you have trouble spelling the long words? What do you class as a proper competition? Why not just come for a 100 birds at high lodge and enjoy it like the rest of us. You never know as it is Christmas I might even buy you a beer

QUOTE (flytie @ Nov 26 2009, 10:32 AM) ......My loads seem to be mid range to high /ish, but only time will tell. Most tested accurate loads for the 6.5 seem to be in that range and as has been said, you`ll find a load and you will swear by it and to save you turning into Harnser, stick with that load !!

QUOTE (starlight32 @ Dec 1 2009, 11:02 PM) We do normally go up to highlodge over the christmas period so I will leave it to you guys. Robbo Last time, there was a no-show from the Suffolk boys. Luckily Harnser and his mate came along to represent Naaarfuk. We need to start seeing that you arent just a keyboard warrior / helmet fancier....

QUOTE (christy @ Nov 25 2009, 03:42 PM) We have three Columbian Blacktails. They look like a normal red/orange chick with a few black feathers at the other end. Bought them point of lay for 9.00 each three months ago. They lay 3 a day everyday and sometimes 4! I would recommend Beginners Guide to Chickens by Lee Faber. (Abbeydale Press) All you need to know for 6.99. Got mine from the Countrywide store, they have a...

Bones are excellent for teeth cleaning and getting all kinds of vitamins and minerals. I feed mine bones twice a week. They normally get beef of lamb bones from the butchers but Morrisons near us sell the bones for about 30p a pack. Bargain! If I dont have the bones, i buy a packet of the value frozen chicken pieces and feed some of the portions. ALWAYS feed raw. Cooked bones will splinter ...

Get one of these mate unbelievable dogs but is it a spaniel. gundog The Irish Water Spaniel resembles a stocky Poodle. The coat consists of dense curls, sheds very little, and is a solid liver colour. The dogs are strongly built, and a bit taller and more square-ish than other spaniels. There is a curly topknot upon the head and the face is smooth. The most distinguishing ...

I;ve shot from the middle of rape fields with good results by using a fishing brolly as the back and three poles in front and cover the whole with dark green camo. I sit in the hide and stand to shoot out of the front when the birds are in range.

How about a threaded bar all the way through. If its on an outside wall you can disguise the outer part of the bar and nut with a hanging ornament. Tack weld the nut in place and then peen the thread over as well. You can also put a plate under the ends of the rod to spread the load. Its a matter of just putting a nut and a spring washer on the bar inside the cabinet.

"the needle" ? You mean have her put down ? Your seriously going to kill the dog because you never bothered to house train her ? From what you have said it sounds like at night you put the lab in the run but leave the lurcher inside, why dont you put the lurcher in the run and leave the lab inside ?

Pav I got my chooks from The Battery Hen Welfare trust, they were a bit scraggy & bald but they soon blossomed in to fine looking hens that lay every day, only cost me a quid each I saved them from ending up on the menu in a Chinese take away. Look up the trust, I think there is another release date near you soon. SS
