Your friend is at fault. Not the dog, not your parents, YOUR FRIEND is at fault. You knew the dog was shy, you knew it was a bad idea for your friend to go over to her, you knew the dog was acting frightened, why didn't you stop your friend? And your friend was a FREAKING IDIOT for putting her face close to a dog that she should have known was shy and was acting frightened. You don't have to pen up the dogs. You...

Have you looked at pics of Roadrunners? The red marks and size that you describe make me think it could be a RR. They're very elusive at times and so it's no wonder you are having trouble getting a pic.

You're 2 yr old dog won't know whats happening. He'll just pick up on your unhappiness. Animals don't understand euthanasia so he won't realize your 13 yr old isn't coming back.
I'm very sorry about you losing your dog.

It does sound like he is sick. I would call the vet and tell them what's going on and see what they say. If there's cause for concern they'll have you come in with him as soon as possible.

Have you ever owned a small terrier before? I'm asking because I've seen odd reactions when my Scotties greet new dogs. See if you can find information about "sparring". This isn't fighting, but a behavior that Scotties, Westies and some other terriers exhibit. They basically hold their bodies stiff and bob and bounce around a new dog. ...

first of all, he may be deaf. Silver, sable, and white ferrets are almost always deaf! My silver is deaf.
I've read that deaf ferrets typically have more of a biting problem and "scream" unlike other ferrets that can hear themselves.
Personally, my ferret does not act like a deaf ferret at all. When playing, she can nip a little hard, but not too bad, and she doesn't scream. We found out ...

im in the same boat as you... at the moment i only have 4 ts globes but with no coral. metal halide lamps can get very costly. i would try ebay as a starter but im not sure if there is any on there.
you may just want to also check out a hydroponics center as well as they will have some pretty strong lighting systems in there that mimic the sun. i have yet to check out my local "the glow room" ...
