Jimmy Lovell is a piece of dirt, and needs to be scraped off the face of this earth. Healing vibes sent to little brown dog, and prayers sent for a wonderful loving home. Seriously.....what threat could a 17 lb dog be to a 45 year old man?? People still disgust me........

Years ago I had a job delivering parts. It was a pretty hot day so I had a coke with me. I got to my destination and went inside the retail business, and waited my turn. When my turn came the customer in front of me moved out of my way, as they were still dealing with him. As the cashier and I waited for a manager to sign an invoice I noticed him getting closer to me. He had his hand right by the coke on the counter. The manager came up and...

What a pig that man was. I hope he gets what is coming to him if he actually gets prison time.

I have been an animal care worker at Bide awhile Animal shelter. That was a paid position. I was a kennel attendant at a vet clinic. Another paid position. I am sure that rescues must have paying positions for some things and that is great. Working with animals and getting paid is a huge plus. This does not sound like a legit rescue to me. I personally couldn't work for this lady. I understand that OP is trying to get help for these cats...

Congratulations! If must be tough to give up one of your babies, but Mew got a wonderful start, and now there's room for another (and another, and...). If she grows up to have a very growly meow, her name will seem deliciously ironic.

School Prayer (a nice sentiment)

I've studied the Bible as literature, both in high school as part of an English class and again at the college level. I don't mind that at all - because we did read passages of the Koran (I think I misspelled that), as well as reading stories from Greek and Roman mythology. We also read Sidhartha and studied the oral traditions of African and Native American tribes. I think that's a great way to approach the Bible in school -...

My brother has a rottweiler and they are wonderful dogs. He is so patient with my 2 year old nephew they are the best of friends. Good luck on your search and I am sorry for the loss of your beloved dog.

Ridiculous. If the man is taking good care of the goats and the goats are happy and healthy and his neighbors don't mind then grandfather him the right to keep them on his property. How much money and time have they wasted since 2003 pestering this man? The money would be better spent spaying and neutering local animals and keeping their offspring out of the area shelters.

She does have a collie-like look and her ears are kinda similar, but her head is wider. Maybe collie or sheltie/beagle?
She is very cute. What did you name her?

Since it seems like he does so well with you can you crate him when the grandkids come over? Has he ever bit anyone else? Have you tried to work with him on his fear? If he just simply can not be trusted with people maybe instead of getting rid of him it would be better to have your vet put him down. That is just my opinion.

Congratulations Mew!
I know it's sad, but her new family sounds great! She's a lucky girl!
Is Adina sad without her mini-me?

I guess I just cannot wrap my mind around why this dog (this great dog that deserves to grow old with someone) could stay for 8 months and then had to go to animal control.
It is too late for Max, but I hope if anyone else finds themselves with a great dog that they have to get rid of, they can give it a little time. Maybe have the dog courtesy listed with a rescue and keep it in the home ...

Don't assume your vet won't give you a prescription for the Heartworm meds. Have you ever asked? If you ask, and he/she won't give you a prescription, you need to consider changing vets.
There are generic heartworm preventives that are exactly the same medication as Heartgard (Ivermectin). Brands to look for are:
Nuheart
Tri-Heart Plus
Valueheart
Iverhart
ProHeart...

students who believe and want to pray (or say the Pledge using God's name) should be allowed to. if the class wants to pray, then excuse the non-believers to a different room. or excuse the believers to a different room. majority rule. even just giving 5 minutes to bow a head and say a prayer silently would work. anyone not interested could simply not partake.

It is just after noon here, and about 87 degrees probably. Clear skies. No kids yet. I bought a little bit of candy but we didn't have any kids last year, and only a couple the year before. We are on a dark street. There were a couple of families with little kids that moved since last year. One house had about six kids under eight years old. Talk about scary.

Liars drive me crazy!!! I love to bust them out in a blatant lie, and have written or video proof to show to them!!
I don't like Fakes either.....people who act so nicely and politely to strangers. They use a sweet, sappy voice, and cater to the strangers needs, making themselves look like a hero. Then, in reality, they are back stabbing, complaining, know-it-all ~~fakes!!!

No specific time. After Thanksgiving, before Christmas. I was thinking since we have an artificial tree, and a dining room we never really use, I would just leave it up this time. Maybe throw a tarp over it in the summer.
But yeah, eventually sometime in December usually, I will get in the mood and decorate.
