There's a wonderful product called "Nature's Miracle" - it's at Petco and PetSmart and other stores. It is an enzymatic cleaner so removes the enzymes that create the smell that we can detect, AND the ones we cannot, but kitties can!

I'm on the tea with honey (no milk) bandwagon. You could also suck on crushed ice, it will cool it and make it feel a bit better, temporarily.

Empty Water Bootles
Published (2009-11-23 21:57:00)
I used to do the same for Zoee. But she'd chew so much she'd end up bleeding. I'd take the cap off though because that was the first thing she destroyed. We had to stop giving them to her because I didn't want her hurting herself. There is a toy that you can put an empty water bottle in. It looks like those sock monkeys that are made out of grandpas socks. Here's the link.

I miss the tomato aspic Ma used to make - no idea of a recipe, couldn't find one anywhere after Ma died. I loved the "French" stuffing we used to have - two kinds of stuffing were available, the bread-crumb based kind, and the mashed potato-based one. Lady's Human finally found the actual recipe for that one!
There's really no traditional Thanksgiving food I didn't love, and I can still eat...

I'm only 10 miles from my parents. I did however live 1,000 miles away for five years. Luckily we did get to visit as my parents could afford the trip. My parents were happy about the move as my husband and I couldn't find suitable work here at the time.

I have for many years. Had one the first week of September.
Since I am over 65 and not considered at high risk , I'm not too worried about the H1N1. Have an appointment with my FP doc in 2 weeks - will see what he has to say about it.
