Kitten afraid of new kitten
Published (2009-11-13 10:24:00)
You're welcome! thanks for the happy update, I'm glad to hear things are working out so quickly! Keep in mind when you see them tumbling and chasing that many cats are very vocal when playing. A lot of hissing and growling may not mean much. Unless you see fur flying, or injuries on either kitten, you can probably assume it's play. They will let each other know if one is being too rough with the other. Get them used to having...

Brad Pattison - Street Safety...
Published (2009-11-13 16:31:00)
God, Brad Pattison is just awful, and I double the hair sentiment! I am shocked that anyone seeing his show would willingly submit their dog to such mishandling. His certified trainers are a joke too. I thought we were getting past beating our animals to get them to obey? He's bringing training back to the dark ages. *funny story though, my mom and I were watching it one day and she asked who he was, and once I told her she said...

Why is your PL name WoofBarkAroo rather than RuffRuffRuff?

Is it just because he's growing too fast?
If so just put him on a high quality ADULT food. Larger breeds should NEVER be fed a puppy food.

Don't blame yourself for that, like you say, he caught you off guard and actually hurt you! I don't know how to advise you as I'm not too hot on cat behaviour and haven't experienced this kind of thing. Just wanted to send my best wishes and I hope someone comes on soon who can offer some kind of insight into the biting! Good luck, Pip

Heather what ever's wrong? Why are you so down on yourself?? I think you're an amazingly fab person and I'm glad you took on Frank. You've only always done what you thought was right, right? Please stop thinking that you done wrong somehow. You've made massive steps with Frank. I've asked you about what he used to be like and you've come a long way since then so you must have ...

Sucky! I just had my old car broken into right when we moved here. There's nothing as horrible as feeling violated.
What stupid theives to mess with anything on your property though! Wouldn't it have been fun to open the door and let Bram and Levon out?

Exactly how big is "too big to be inside"? I can't imagine he's bigger than you or your SO, and you can live inside perfectly well.
Edit: He's a Border Collie, so he's only a medium sized dog.
Having a child shouldn't mean dumping your dog out in the yard. Dogs and babies can co-exist peacefully if you take the time and start training your dog now. Many trainers will ever do a baby safety ...

Okie doke. Congratulations "Akadma"
1. How would you like to be remembered?
2. Hot beverage of choice?
3. Favourite perfume?
4. Celebrity crush?
5. Any ambitions or dreams that you hope/intend to realise?
6. If you could own any animal, what would it be?
And I'm done. I'm getting so unoriginal. Not that I was that original to begin with.

That story is so sad I'm so glad you've decided to take him, poor boy! I can't imagine what the man's going through, losing so much at once, but to then give up the rest of his 'family' too?
I really hope things go smoothly and he settles down quickly with your guys.

I've read this a few times before and it never fails, I cry.
I feel awful for the animals, and I feel awful for this person. It certainly isn't their fault that all of these animals ended up in shelters, and there are just not enough responsible homes, what can be done?

Well I am happy you have her now Lexi.
If she is coming around and beginning to settle this quickly I think she will eventually adjust and fit in totally.
Don't forget pics when you have time.
