You should not need to disconnect the hydraulic line from the clutch cylinder to remove it from the pedal cluster. If you don't introduce air into the system, no need to bleed. But bleeding it really isn't a big deal once you have the car in the air.

my 965 turbo im assuming has the exact same pedal mount set up as the 964 i was having difficulty engaging 1st gear, very notchy, anyway had a look around the pedal area and where the clutch pedal hydraulic piston mounts the bracket has a clean crack right across. i presume this is the cause of my 1st gear not engaging properly, is this a common fault the piston not having a solid surface to...

http://www. trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-173601319. htm the miles are moderate and they seem to know what theyre talking about, but still, the price is $9,752.48 USD which is pretty damn cheap in this market, they usually start at $16,929.45 USD. any ideas?

I made my first driving video the other day. As you can see , it is pretty basic (is there a way to upload video here on Pelican?) Anyway, it got me to thinking about in-car video systems (I made mine with an old hand-held digital camera) so I started to research them. I've found a bunch of different brands from the low-end to the hi-end. Oregon Scientific GoPro Hero Chase Cam...

I know there are too many possibilities w/out seeing it, but , how much oil could an engine conciveably leak onto the heat exchange and burn off , only leaving a drop on the floor? Over the coarse of 3 months and 1 thousand miles? A fair amount os smoke at shut down but only a drop or 2 on the floor (small dime size).

OK, I have put this off for 10 months to give them a chance to fix there mistakes, but now I am ready to kill. The Story: Last Sept I bought a '71 E targa in California that sat in a garage for 10 years. The first thing I wanted to do is rebuild the engine, so I checked on the net for good rebuilder's (I didn't belong to this forum yet...) I saw one that said "Motor Meister, USAs #1 ...

I guess it's time I started a thread on my latest upgrade. Having owned my 911 for about 1 - 1/2 years now (actually, it owns me), I've made some significant alterations to its configuration. Some have been positive, others less so. So, after tinkering for the last year, I'm pleased to report that the car runs perfectly. The gearbox has been rebuilt, and is smooth like silk. The MAF is all ...

recently my 1st gear started to getdifficult to engage, it turned out the bracket which holds the pedals cracked around where the hydraulic clutch piston is mounted. is this a common fault on the 964 and turbo models, why did it crack and is this an early sign indicating the clutch maybe on its way out the car drives and pulls fine, no clutch slip. the clutch pedal is not soft and not to ...
