Still seems to be a T-stat problem to me. I went through two Kragen t-stats, and two Napa t-stats before I went to the dealership and paid $2 more than Napa and my problems went away. Just my $.02

Smarty sets the pricing for all their distributors, so they should all have the same price. there are several for sale in the classifieds at cumminsforum. One for 300 IIRC

Heater core, yep. I'm doing mine right now. It's a pain in the butt, but by no means impossible. Set aside a good day or so to get it done. Make sure you have another ride, in case you need to get parts. I ended up cutting my heater hoses off and had to get new ones. There are a few write-ups on here, some with pics. well with a 3 inch lift you can do 35s but with it being a 1500 you will have to regearing with anything bigger then a 33, a 35 is pushing it and should only be used if you are going to be driving very little. im not too sure about 37s though but 5 inches total should be enough.

There isn't really a good place to hook to...I bought the OEM tow hook kit (like what comes on the dodge ram with the off-road package) off ebay for <$150. I highly recommend it.

Some people get pretty good mileage out of them.
I think that is probably about all you will get out of it though, if I were you i would look around more before you buy it.
