Halloween = drunk parents???

In our neighborhood there were probably people drinking, but they are not obvious about it and certainly not drunk. If they were drinking like you describe I would have a huge problem with it!

Things are not real good for me right now- feels like my world has crashed down. It is quite serious- the kids are fine, and everything is ok healthwise...just found out some stuff about my dh being deceitful to me. I cannot believe this is happening. Please say a little prayer I can see the sunlight tomorrow.

How are her communication skills? My ds#1 was a biter but only ever bit his older sister. He was a late talker and it was his way of voicing his displeasure with her. It did stop pretty quickly.

I hope she doesn't do it again. Landon only bit a few times, though when he did, he made it count. Our bigger issue was hitting, but that even seems to be rectified now.

Sounds to me like you are on track. Unfortunately if she won't listen to her friend she is unlikely to listen to medical staff or strangers. I would just let her know that you cannot invite her over during mealtimes because it sends the wrong message to Cody. HUGS.

I'm sorry! I know how you feel though. Maybe instead of spraying air freshener, spray the clean "spots' and other fabric things around the area with FreBreeze instead will work. When Scott had c-diff years ago and before Frebreeze was invented I would have gave anything for it. Everything seemed to stink cause he pooped so much (and boy can c-diff poop stink!). Quality of life is whatever makes my daughter happy. It's not what the medical doctors define it as and certainly not how insurance companies see it. If she is smiling and living her life comfortably without pain or fear, that is quality of life. It's not about what she can do. Good question!

With as much chaos going on at Halloween I would think drinking while trying to make sure your children are safe would be very dangerous, there are so many things to watch out for, cars, other people , making sure your children are with you at all times , definitely not the time to be drinking! Get done with trick or treating, put the kids to bed, then the grown ups can have their fun with ...
