Darn good shots and your usual fine narrative. The wheel oiling shot is pretty funny, definitely a govt. job. Five people to watch and one to do the work! I suspect you might have had a hip flask filled with Courvoisier for the chill, now that would cure a lot of ills. I love the last photo.

Hi Jax Great series Jax. Love them all. I am glad the weather is a bit milder for you but would be lovely to see it all frozen over. Just what I need. The temperature here is 39 degrees. Its was so hot yesterday but hotter today and they are keeping the children off school. They will be breaking up in a couple of days anyway. I am not going far today. Sara

Yes, neat photos, Elayne. In fact, very neat photos! And as usual great commentary. Love it. You are a very good story-teller, Elayne. And you are very brave to be out there in the freezing cold taking these shots, but, your bravery really paid off... these are great shots, even for a cold and over-cast day! Great capture of those white clouds of steam. Love them. I have never seen those in person. Thanks for a very interesting trip to the...

On December 12 and 13 the Colorado Railroad Museum Steamed Up engine 346 and threw a Christmas Party. Santa and Mrs. Claus, greeted the children in the Red Caboose. Saturday, it was bright and sunny, but the Weather-Guessers assured us that Sunday would be Much Nicer ... the wind was going to blow on Saturday. So Mid and I decided that we'd go on Sunday, when the wind wasn't blowing and it would be Much Nicer ... You'd think by...

Very good shots , Bill, and a fair test for the new toy.
To get a few picks of 'Friends' is a good idea. I recognise myself, munching on my salad, but who is the young bird in the number one spot? I
don't recognise her.
Harryco.

Fantastic series Lulu.
Lovely to see your photos. Just look at that deli.......all those fantastic sausages and salami.
The place is delightful - I could wander around for hours just looking.
Your lighting is perfect. Very interesting.
Look forward to seeing more.

Absolutely loved every one, Sara! Such a beautiful place. I would be there at least once a week...always looks a little
different from week to week here and think so for there too. No wild tree ferns here but they are planted in yards everywhere. Don't get as big as yours
right here but do a little farther south...tops freeze off here. Hugs, Shirley

Ahhh... now that's definitely Turret Arch! It's been a few years (2005 or 2006). You were blessed with great skies... my trip there gave us bland
bluebird skies with harsh light during the day and an awesome sunset which unfortunately was in the wrong direction.
Love this shot of yours... colors are so vibrant and composition is super! Thanks for posting.
