Real or not? It's compelling

But would it have been without us? That's the real question. Weather is inherently unpredictable. Climate goes in cycles and technically we're still in the last Ice Age. So what do you expect in an Ice Age? I imagine the Northern Europeans of the 1300s would have thought themselves hard done to because they went through a mini ice age. I found the contents of those links really quite unnerving. I'd love to see the Beeb dare do...

Face it guys, we just don't have enough customers to make this viable! If things don't pick up soon, we close at the end of the week. Sorry! Now bugger off and leave me alone.

Well that should be OK I'd have thought. Very strange. With Empire, who knows. I found out the other day that one of the lead coders left during the making of Empire and I cant help but presume thats why it was in the state it was at release. And even more why after 10+ patches/hot fixes, they still haven't isolated all the bugs. There must be shed loads of code to try and understand. Of course thats just an assumption of mine, not...

When I coded in college and Uni we were always taught, and in the industries they are told to comment all code. So if someone leaves they can understand what the code is doing in the section they were given to code. I doubt that was the reason as they had this same issue in MW2. I still feel it's Sega rushing them to release unfinished games.

The Today Thread
Published (2009-11-25 16:48:00)
I've just had a good lesson in cheek from one of the senior management type people here at college. I set up some equipment for a presentation this morning in which they wanted to use a USB remote presenter to move the powerpoint presentation on with. This lady had one with her and plugged it into the laptop. Then she said to me "Can you bring on of your own down to use as I don't want to lose this one as it's our only...

I had a program which allowed me to input the link for the iplayer video which would download it as an iphone version. This could then be converted to another file type, I used format factory because it is free. Main reason I used it was to burn iplayer videoes to dvd to play on the tv instead of computer.
If you want, I can find out what the program is, I can't remember what it is off ...

According to this site:
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Ben chmarklist.2436.0.html
The Athlon QL65 comes 90th in their list ( filtered for notebook CPUs only) and the Sempron M100 188th.
I'd go for the Athlon with 4GB RAM.

Well, I've done a virus check using Avast and a malware scan using Spybot and neither has turned up anything. So it must be either a hardware or a Windows problem. Can anyone help at all?

Yeah that would be useful. I think it is going to be even more relevant given the higher temperatures that the I7 chips run at for people that want to overclock.

No.
I want to immerse myself in the game and multiplayer gaming whilst it can be addictive is not as such immersive. At last not the way I play it!
CoD2 and CoD4 were far too short for the price of the game though at least now I'm killing a few people online in CoD4 I'm getting my money's worth.
Simply, with a first rate game such as GTA:SA I don't want it to end. Plot twists and ...

Have to say, I switched my PC from AVG to Avast and then to Microsoft Security Essentials. MSE seems to do about as much good as the previous ones with a much smaller footprint (plus it doesn't whine at me about upgrading every 6 months)

Booking a holiday to coincide with a game release eh ?
you win...
Sounds like fun all the same.
No wife to bother you, a couple of cold ones in the fridge, money for pizza deliveries in the spoon drawer.
Yup, you're going to have one great holiday, I'm slightly envious _________________ Pyschotic episode ver 1.0
