and what may I ask are you playing that requires Tri-fire or Tri-SLI. It's pretty obvious that Tri-SLI is better than Tri-Fire but it's also pretty obvious that standard SLI or crossfire could handle anything out right now

It isn't HD audio, until you put in an HD source. To me my Realtek HD onboard sounds better than my Audigy 2 ZS. Plus Realtek HD has microphone speaker calibration EDIT: Your board has a Realtek ALC1200 and mine is a Realtek ALC888S, but I think the 1200 is just a rebrand of the 888 for ASUS boards. I can get either of these cases within a few dollars of one another ($115) but am wondering which will be best? I am using it for a HTPC but overclocking the components as well. From the looks of it cooling is approximately the same on both. Can anyone ...

I heard that the guy developing physx drivers for ati cards got "hired" into nvidia as an nvidia physx engineer.....and notice that ati still doesn't run physx. (I also heard somewhere that the 4870 ran physx better than a 280, so maybe there finally is a use for all those stream processors). I don't see any issue with that article, I love ATI, but if they didn't optimize their ...

ugh... myself being open minded i can understand the physx debacle, though I def don't like it. This, if it's true, is blatantly anti-competitive imo, and from my point of view simply tells me that nVidia knows its SLi technology is behind the times. If this is true, and I were Lucid and/or MSI, I would sue nVidia. much like the EU case against Intel, for forcefully blocking ...

HD5870: Takes less power, runs cooler, amazing price to performance ratio vs. the GTX295, and has the ability to get better with newer drivers.

QUOTE (insan3 @ Nov 5 2009, 04:18 PM) i want to up grade my HDD to SSD and use my HDD for storage. i know very little when it comes to SSD. i want to put my OS and a couple games on the SSD. i am looking at a 32GB,64GB or 120GB depending on price. probably 60-64GB would be a good entry level SSD, I was considering one of those before.
